Remember it doesn’t matter if you have never stepped onto a yoga mat, haven’t been for a while or come every week, you are always very welcome to join me and all the other lovely people who come to practice, at any of the classes 🥰🙏

I think if you want to see the best of humanity the easiest way is go to watch a marathon or triathlon and Ironman is one of the best for that! Ironman Copenhagen on Sunday had me chatting to supporters from Denmark, Germany, Italy, the UK and Sweden and cheering on athletes from all over and as far away as Trinidad and Tobago. From the determination and strength of the athletes to the tireless cheering of the supporters, the camaraderie is incredible 🥹...everyone just wanting to hear those magic words "You. Are. An. Ironman" it gives me goose pimples every time. So proud of Philip for smashing it again to an Ironman PB 🤩🙏

📣 We’re Not at Clitheroe Food Festival This Year… But We’ve Got Something for You! 🥐

We’ve had loads of messages asking if we’ll be at Clitheroe Food Festival 2025 — and honestly, we wish we were! We’ve been trying for months to secure a spot, but sadly, we won’t be trading at the event this year.

Despite being based right here in Whalley (you don’t get more local than us), having supported the festival for years, and putting in all the effort we could, we weren’t offered a pitch this time. The official reason is that it’s full… though we suspect there just wasn’t room for one more cruffin in the mix 😉

We’re genuinely disappointed — the festival is a brilliant day for the town and a real boost for small businesses like ours. But we’ll still be baking away and flying the flag for proper local food from our little corner of the Ribble Valley.

👉 We’ll be OPEN as usual this Saturday from 9am to 1pm at our Whalley bakery on Mitton Road Industrial Estate.
And as a thank you for all the continued love, if you say “food festival” at the till, you’ll get 10% OFF your order — all day Saturday 🙌

So if you’re looking for something delicious this weekend, come see us — we promise we’ll make it worth your while! 💛

Most of you know that as well as yoga I love hiking and dabble in running! Despite the very real cringe-factor of ever seeing myself on video 😂🫣 I really do think it’s worth sharing how ace I think Kendal Mint Co are. I’ve avoided gels and stuff because I’ve always felt they contain nasty chemically stuff (side note I have no expertise in this area 😄) but these are easy on the stomach, vegan 🌱 and the refillable options mean less single use plastic!) Anyway my two-penneth for what it’s worth is if you are into hiking or running or anything where you might want an energy boost to help endurance, these are well worth a try 🥰🌱
