Job Opportunity: Prosthetic Denture Technician

Location: Corus Byrnes, WheatleyWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary - £35-45k but variable for the right candidate

Are you a skilled Prosthetic Denture Technician looking for your next challenge? Join Corus Byrnes, a fun and energetic dental laboratory dedicated to transforming dental technology and delivering exceptional experiences for our clients.

About the Role: As a Prosthetic Denture Technician, you’ll play a key role in our Wheatley-based team. The position primarily involves analog work, with exciting opportunities to work on digital dentures. Knowledge of implants and attachment systems is highly desirable.

About You - We’re looking for someone who:
Is experienced in prosthetic denture techniques, with a strong foundation in analog methods but an open mind for change.
Has familiarity with or a willingness to learn digital denture workflows.
Possesses knowledge of implants and attachment systems (preferred but not essential).
Has good English and is confident at speaking with clients.
Thrives in a team-oriented, supportive, and dynamic environment.
Shares our passion for revolutionising dental technology and providing outstanding service.

A huge thank you to Tom Whiting, who is the new CEO of the GDC, for spending most of the day at Byrnes dental laboratory to understand dental technology as a whole. Where we fit into the picture, how the GDC works with us, , lack of techs, education and illegal manufacture where just a few of the topics we covered. Tom was engaging, open and listened to everyone who had questions. I found Tom engaging and was very keen to take we the GDC in a new direction working closer with the industry. I feel the GDC is in very safe hands and I look forward to a much more collaborative and team player approach from the GDC.

We are thrilled and excited to welcome the new GDC CEO, Tom Whiting to Byrnes dental laboratory in the next few weeks. Tom and some of his senior will be attending for the day to understand dental technology and where we fit into the world of dentistry. Tom has agreed to open questions about the state of dental technology and it's future with regards the GDC. We welcome his visit to our lab to show him modern cutting edge dental technology and demonstrate how key technicians are to the bigger picture of dentistry. We welcome Tom's hands on approach to understanding our industry.

"Today marks the 18th anniversary of Byrnes Dental Lab, and I couldn't be more grateful for the incredible journey it has been. From its humble beginnings with my father in 2006 to becoming an integral part of Corus today, the support from everyone involved has been nothing short of remarkable.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our loyal clients whose trust and partnership have propelled us forward, our dedicated suppliers who have continuously raised the bar, and, of course, the exceptional team at Byrnes who breathe life into our vision every day.
