Last week, some of our lovely residents at The Triangle Care Home enjoyed a wonderfully calm afternoon of water painting 🎨💧

Using special pictures that reveal their colours with just a brush of water, everyone took their time watching the designs slowly come to life. There was something really soothing about it, each stroke bringing a little surprise and a lot of satisfaction 💜

It was a relaxed, peaceful session with plenty of quiet focus, a few smiles shared across the table, and that lovely moment of seeing each picture suddenly appear in full colour.

Such a simple activity, but it made for such a lovely way to spend the afternoon!

Last Monday, we had a lovely mix of creativity and fresh air here at The Triangle Care Home 💜

In the morning, we made the most of our leftover Easter treats by creating delicious chocolate bird’s nest cakes 🐣🍫 Our lovely residents really enjoyed getting hands on, mixing, shaping, and decorating each one with the last of the Easter chocolates. There was plenty of laughter along the way, and of course a few little tastes to make sure everything was just right.

Later on, we headed out into the garden to enjoy the beautiful weather 🌸🌿 Our residents spent a peaceful afternoon planting up colourful hanging baskets for the fence, carefully choosing flowers and getting stuck into the soil. It was such a calming, feel good activity with plenty of fresh air and easy conversation.

From sweet treats in the morning to sunshine in the afternoon, it was a simple but really special day all round 🌼

We’ve had such a lovely creative afternoon at The Triangle Care Home with our modelling dough session 🎨💜

Our wonderful residents really got stuck in, shaping, squishing and bringing all sorts of ideas to life. There were bright colours, little creations taking shape, and plenty of conversation as everyone shared what they were making. It was one of those relaxed sessions where time just seems to pass in the nicest way.

There was lots of laughter as we compared creations and admired each other’s work. It’s always wonderful to see everyone expressing themselves in their own way and just enjoying the moment together 😊

Well done to everyone who took part, it really was a joyful and imaginative afternoon. What would you create with a bit of modelling dough? 🎨

Last week, we had such a lovely time celebrating St George’s Day here at The Triangle Care Home

Our wonderful residents got stuck into decorating their own cakes, each one adding their own colours, icing, and little personal touches. Some went for a classic look, while others got a bit more creative, and it was so nice to see everyone enjoying themselves 💜

The afternoon was full of laughter, easy conversation, and of course a few well deserved treats once the decorating was done. It’s these simple, shared moments that make days like this feel extra special and leave plenty of smiles behind 🍰

April didn’t feel like one big moment across our homes, but lots of smaller ones and that’s what made it so special 💜

There were Easter crafts, feasts, time spent outside as the weather picked up, and plenty of conversations sparked along the way. We also took time to recognise Autism Acceptance Week and Parkinson’s Awareness Week, creating space to learn, reflect and support one another.

St George’s Day brought a bit of fun and familiarity too, with simple touches that made people smile 🏴

It’s these everyday moments that shape life in our homes, not just the celebrations, but the time spent together in between.

Last week at Triangle Care Home, we had such a lovely time celebrating National Tea Day ☕

We set up a relaxed tea tasting for our wonderful residents, with a mix of well loved classics and a few more adventurous blends to try. It didn’t take long for the conversations to start flowing, with everyone sharing their favourites and a few fond memories along the way 💜

The room felt so cosy, filled with the familiar scent of freshly brewed tea, plenty of laughter, and those easy, unhurried chats we all enjoy!

Our morning was filled with warmth, creativity and plenty of lovely conversation during our Knit and Natter session 💜

The ladies got stuck into their knitting projects, sharing tips, stories and a good few laughs along the way. There’s something so comforting about sitting together, hands busy and conversation flowing 😊

It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged and enjoying each other’s company while creating something special.

A big thank you to the wonderful Magical Mersey Beats from Mini Concerts for such a fantastic afternoon here at The Triangle 💜

Our lovely residents had such a lovely time enjoying the music, with plenty of singing along and toes tapping to some real classics. The room was full of smiles, laughter and those little moments where a song brings back a special memory 🎶

There’s something about live music that really brings everyone together, and afternoons like this always feel that bit more special in our home 😊

📚✨ Today we were so pleased to launch our very first Book Club in the home ✨📚

Our wonderful residents came together for a really relaxed and cosy session as we started reading My Heart is in Venice. It didn’t take long before the conversation began flowing, with thoughts being shared and a few smiles as everyone settled into the story.

It was lovely to see people chatting about what the book reminded them of, with little memories and reflections coming up along the way. There was such a nice sense of togetherness in the room.

We’re already looking forward to meeting again for the next chapter and seeing where the story takes us 💜

🎶 What a lovely Thursday we had in our home 🎶

Our amazing residents were treated to a fantastic live performance from Julie at Musical Moments , and it really was such a feel good afternoon. From familiar classics to those toe tapping tunes, the room quickly filled with music, laughter and lots of happy faces.

It was so nice to see everyone joining in, with plenty of singing, clapping and even a little dancing here and there. Those shared moments really do bring such a special energy into the home.

A big thank you to Julie for such a warm and uplifting visit. We’re already looking forward to the next one 💜

🌞 Coffee, Cake, and Sunshine 🌞

Today we made the most of the beautiful sunshine and took some of our lovely residents out for coffee and cake. The fresh air and warmth made the outing feel extra special, a perfect way to spend part of the day together ☕🍰

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and great conversations as everyone relaxed and enjoyed each other’s company. These little moments remind us just how important it is to get out, socialise, and treasure the simple joys in life 💜

It was a wonderful afternoon all around, filled with happiness, connection, and memories to carry with us 🌸
