If you’ve ever walked into our home and noticed how warm, tidy, and welcoming it feels, chances are that Helen Wicks, one of our dedicated Housekeepers, has had something to do with it. ☺️

Outside of work, Helen has a creative side that might surprise you as she loves making beautiful resin vases, animals, and Christmas baubles in her spare time. Her artistic touch and attention to detail shine through, not only in her craftwork but also in the care she brings to her daily duties. 🧹

When asked what part of her role she enjoys most, Helen said she loves socialising with residents and takes pride in knowing she’s helping to make their home comfortable and cared for. 💜

Many people might not realise just how varied and complex her role is, from maintaining high standards throughout the home to remembering each resident’s personal preferences with their laundry. Helen approaches every task with thoughtfulness and heart. We’re so grateful for all that she does to make our home a welcoming and happy place to live. ✨🏡

It’s moments like this that really make working in a care home worth it.

We had the lovely Charmaine visit Triangle today, bringing plenty of music from all different genres and eras.

Our Mavis was the first one on the dance floor, having a boogie with the staff such a heartfelt moment! Seeing Mavis so happy truly reminds us what it’s all about. 💛

🍂 Autumn Fun at The Triangle Care Home 🎃

We’ve been getting into the autumn spirit with some festive fun! Mavis and our spooky black cat helped us get ready for Halloween, while Margaret and Big Ted got creative with some brilliant pumpkin decorating. 🐱🧡🎨

It’s these cosy, cheerful moments that make the season so special. 🍁

What a fantastic afternoon filled with music, movement, and joy! Our lovely Mavis was leading the way on the dance floor — showing us all how it’s done! 🕺🎤

🦎🐍 ZooLab Visits Our Residents! 🐢🕷️

We had an amazing day as the ZooLab team brought some incredible creatures to meet our residents! From slithering snakes and curious lizards to friendly insects and tortoises - there were smiles (and a few squeals!) all around.

Our residents loved the chance to get up close and learn about these fascinating reptiles and mini-beasts. It was wonderful to see so many happy faces, laughter, and a few brave hands holding their new scaly friends!

A big thank you to ZooLab for providing such an educational and entertaining experience and to our wonderful staff for making the day extra special.
