🎀In October we wear pink 🎀

Today is 'wear it pink' to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research and we went all out at Whiston Hall.

We all put on something pink and celebrated our residents, staff, family and friends who have been affected by and survived breast cancer. We also thought fondly of those we lost from Breast cancer.

A massive special thank you to our carer Kelly Jane Baker for the fab decorations! As always, thank you to all of our staff were more than happy to get involved 🎀

Hydration is key 😬 we had a Hydration trolley today making our own jelly triffles with a slide of peach slices and grapefruit!

The residents enjoyed getting creative and enjoyed the independence of making there own treats!

We have had a visit from the lovely April from Musical Moments today. As usual all the residents loved it and all got involved singing and dancing.

Our care assistant Colette and Chef Sue couldn't resist a turn of the YMCA 💃💃 We look forward to our next visit from April 😀

📮✉️ Today is world Post day. To celebrate Kathleen went back to visit the post office at Far Lane where she worked for 15 years!

Kathleen said the place looked very different and told me some stories of her time at Post office. She always says how much she liked working there. We had a lovely afternoon out!
