We are looking for a Senior Carer who is self-motivated, customer focused and possesses the ability to multitask as you will be working under pressure to meet deadline and with excellent training abilities, an individual who would be providing training to a number of employees within the company.

You will work closely with the Registered Manager, planning rotas, briefing carers prior to care calls, conducting supervisions and managing customer visits when required.

Responsibilities:

Alternative on call weekends.
Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting Clients, when required, with all aspects of daily living.
Support training and supervision of junior and new Staff Members in all aspects of their work in the Care Centre, under the supervision of senior Staff Members.
Assist Clients in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional, and spiritual).Provide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Clients retain their comfort and dignity.
Complete, observe, & review care planning needs for Clients, and complete written daily records as instructed and in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
Carry out regular checks on Clients at intervals determined by senior Staff Members.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Experience in a care coordinating capacity within Domiciliary Care
Excellent organisational skills - ability to plan and organise workloads effectively to ensure that clients receive the services that they expect and deserve
Ability to maintain clear and accurate written records and follow statutory reporting procedures
Ability to communicate clearly and build positive working relationships with clients, their families, fellow staff and other health and social care professionals.
Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skill
Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines, in a calm and patient manner.
Be computer literate
SVQ Level 3 preferred
Driving preferable but not essential
