Last week's arts and crafts session brought out some hidden talents! 🎨

Our residents enjoyed a relaxed afternoon of painting amongst friends. It was a great chance to try something new or pick up a familiar hobby, all in good company.

We were really impressed with the calibre of skill, and can't wait to see what our talented residents create next!

Bingo? Yes. And it was brilliant. 🙌

We know bingo sometimes gets written off as “just something to pass the time.” But the truth is that it’s actually the most requested activity from our residents, and for good reason.

There’s something special about it.

The shared laughter and friendly teasing.
The comfort of a familiar routine.
The quiet thrill of waiting for your number to be called.
And the simple happiness of being together.

It's more than a game; it’s about the feeling in the room. And yesterday, the room was full of warmth, smiles, and a whole lot of heart.

So yes, we played bingo. And yes, we’ll be doing it again next week. 🤭

It's 'Don't Step on a Bee Day'! 🐝

To celebrate, our residents had a creative afternoon making their own bees at Whitby Court. We can almost hear the buzzing!

Bees quietly carry out one of the most important roles in nature: helping plants grow, bloom, and bear fruit. As essential pollinators, they support entire ecosystems and make much of our food possible.

Anyone for tennis?! 🎾

We kicked off this week in style at Whitby Court with a fun-filled afternoon that was all about celebrating Wimbledon in all its glory! Balloon tennis led to some hilarious moments and we also had a blast playing Wimbledon themed bingo!

This was more than just a game of tennis; it was about being part of a tradition!

Did you know Sir David Beckham takes his mum to the first day of Wimbledon every year? ❤️
