Aging.... It's an inevitable part of life, but looking your age is not!
Have a look at the diagram below - it shows how the fat distribution changes in the face as we age. Then there's bone resorption too. We also gradually lose the collagen/elastin in the skin from around 30 at 1-2% a year leading to lines and wrinkles. But we lose about 30% in the 5 years around menopause so often women can feel their age has suddenly caught up with them!
Aesthetics isn't everyone's cup of tea, and that is totally ok, but sometimes I think the perception of aesthetics is skewed by ideas about people looking 'done' or the latest trend in Russian lips or whatever it may be.
