Im isobel, pleased to meet you! I am a wellness and movement expert
I help busy perimenopausal and menopausal ladies bust their stress and feel great in mind and body through Massage Yoga Fitnesspilates . Basically I bust stress for a living and i can bust your stress to and help let you enjoy life to the full - join us online or in realife dm to make an appointment or to join an online class

Why do i do this ? Because i love it why else?! What better result is there than to see someone at the end of their session smiling , moving and relaxed ?! I provide solutions that really enable clients to live life to the full and not be restricted by lack of movement , pain discomfort, lessening strength, balance, and other such issues which often are resulting from the effect that peri/postmenopause has on our bodies and minds . I have been working with womens bodies and minds for many years using massage and yoga and have recently added coaching fitnesspilates (after having practiced pilates for many years and gained real benefits ) to the mix to offer the best allround solutions tailored to each client

Does anyone else feel like September is the real New Year?

The big rush kicks back in — children back to school, inbox filling up, darker evenings creeping in. Suddenly, those long summer afternoons are replaced with to-do lists as long as your arm. (Not just mine is it?)

And you can start to feel it in your mind and body, a tight jaw , tired eyes, skin that’s gone from glowing to dull overnight, and that tight feeling in shoulders and neck. The frazzle has started!

This is the season where stress builds up… but it’s also the perfect moment to reset.

Save this post as a little reminder for whenyour September feels like a sprint and that actually you need a nudge to slow down.

Helloooo There!!!!! It feels like we haven’t spoken in a little while , so let’s have a catch up.

I’ve taken a little summer slowdown (with some holiday time too 🌞), and it reminded me how powerful a proper reset can be. Time away always shows me that slowing down isn’t a luxury it’s a total necessity!

The same goes for our bodies. We juggle busy diaries, family, work, and a million other things… but what keeps us steady is pausing, breathing, and giving ourselves some care.

I’d love to know , did you manage to give yourself a little reset this summer?let me know the comments.

“Youre have to get down to the floor “ wrong - Pilates can be done in a chair seated or/and standing up - there are even some aqua pilates classes!!

“You must have your head lifted when you are on the ground”
Wrong . It all depends on what feels right for you

“You must be flexible “
Wrong youll become more mobile and strengthen through doing pilates

“You have to do pilates in a class”
Wrong you can also do pilates in a personal training session or in your own home in our zoom classes or on catchup at a time that suits you!

There is a type of Pilates for everyone- come along and try it for yourself !

Going on Holiday
I’m heading off for a little change of scenery… see you in September
Just a little note to say I’m away for the next couple of weeks a working holiday this time, with a mix of planning, creating, and the odd coastal walk or coffee stop to keep the brain happy.

I’ll be back in September ready to help you melt away tension, smooth away stress lines, and get you moving with more ease again.

If you’d like to book your post-holiday massage, facial, Pilates or yoga spot, now’s a good time to secure it my diary tends to fill up fast when I get back.

Until then, here’s a little ‘while I’m away’ list to keep you feeling relaxed, supple, and glowing until we meet again.

🌺 15 Things to Do While I’m Away
1 Start your morning with three slow shoulder rolls each way.
2. Try a gentle seated twist before bed.
3. Walk tall imagine a string gently lifting you from the crown of your head.
4. Sit on the edge of your chair to engage your core while working.
5. Lie on the floor for 5 minutes, knees bent, and just breathe.
6. Stand with feet hip-width and rise up onto your toes 10 times.
7. Practice balancing on one leg while brushing your teeth.
8. Reach your arms overhead and stretch side to side.
9. Do 5 slow bridges before bed.
10. Try square breathing: in 4, hold 4, out 4, hold 4.
11. Take your shoes off and feel the ground under your feet.
12. Lengthen your spine whenever you think of it.
13. Pause in your day to unclench your jaw.
14. Gently circle your wrists and ankles when sitting.
15. Book your next class into your diary so you’ve got something to look forward to.

Breathing (yes im talking about breathing again!!) is really the heart of yoga. It doesn’t have to be fancy just slow, steady breaths in and out through your nose (no need for dramatic Darth Vader impressions unless you really want to) Just becoming aware of how youre breathing what it feels like what it sounds like

When you let your breath guide your movement, everything softens it feels calmer, smoother, and far less like “doing exercise” and more like giving your body a gentle reset. It’s surprising how something so simple can ease stress, release tightness, and leave you feeling like you’ve had a proper pause in your day.

If you’d love to try this in a class with me, come along either in personnor online it’s honestly one of the nicest ways to press that inner reset button.
