Corns and hard skin on your feet are extremely painful.

They are caused by friction and pressure from repeated actions. Some sources of this friction and pressure include:

Wearing bad-fitting shoes and socks. Tight shoes and high heels can squeeze areas of the feet. If your shoes are loose, your foot may repeatedly slide and rub against the shoe. Your foot may also rub against a seam or stitch inside the shoe.
🧦🧦🧦🧦
Socks that don't fit right can also be a problem.
& Not wearing socks. Wearing shoes and sandals without socks can cause friction on your feet.

FUNGAL NAIL INFECTION

Scales or streaking, crumbling, flaking, and yellow spots on your toenails may be signs that you have a fungal infection.
This can occur from fungi entering your toenail because of its moist environment.

Symptoms may develop slowly. You may get the fungus because of a medical condition like diabetes, exposure to contaminated nail instruments, nail varnish use of a public place like a swimming pool or locker room, or a skin injury near your toenail.

Nail infections can be very persistent and may require an antifungal medication available with a prescription.

Corns, cracked heels and hard skin on your feet are extremely painful. They’re caused by friction and pressure from repetitive actions.

Sources of this friction and pressure includes wearing ill-fitting shoes &/or socks.

👠 Tight shoes and high heels can squeeze areas of the feet.
🥿 If your shoes are loose, your foot may repeatedly slide and rub against the shoe.
👟Your foot may also rub against a seam or stitch inside the shoe.

If you spot any of the following changes, you need to see a Foot care Specialist or your GP -

• Tingling sensation or pins and needles (like numbness) pain or (burning)
• A dull ache
•Shiny, smooth skin on your feet
• Hair loss on your legs and feet
• Loss of feeling in your feet or legs
• Swollen feet
• Your feet don't sweat
•Wounds or sores that don't heal
•Cramp in your calves when resting or walking.
•Changes in the colour and shape of your feet
•Cold or hot feet
•Blisters and cuts that you can see but don't feel
•Foul smell coming from an open wound.
