Two pieces of our work headed over the English Channel last weekend for the visits of Whitchurch Town Council, The Twinning Committee and Whitchurch Alport FC for the 50 years of twinning between Whitchurch and Neufchâtel and to celebrate F.C Neufchâtel clocking up 100 years of football.

We’re very proud of both plaques and look forward to seeing them on display in our twin town and hopefully will be in place for many future generations to see.

A big thank you to Andy Williams who helped get these plaques over the water in one piece!

Really enjoyed doing these little engraved house bricks, plus the date stones always look great once they are built into the walls 👌🏻

Really proud to have helped create a little bit of local history in the making with these pieces for the new town hall 😊

Following on from the 'official opening' of in February (how long ago does that seem now!?), we're delighted that the commemorative stone has been installed at the front of our temporary home in Station Road this morning ...

The stone marks the opening of the building on 21st February 2025 by HM Lord Lieutenant of Shropshire, Anna Turner, the High Sheriff of Shropshire, Brian Welti and Helen Morgan, MP for North Shropshire. It was also important to us that the stone sympathetically mirrored the building's existing 'Police Station' sign and other architectural features ...

Whether we like it, or not, this will be our temporary base for a considerable time - therefore we wanted to ensure we had something that the town could take pride in ...!!

Many thanks Yates Memorials ... it looks great!!

As mentioned previously - we are awaiting details of the next phase of the official public consultation in relation to Whitchurch Civic Centre, following funding decisions by Shropshire Council, the building owner and Corporate Landlord. We will publish details as soon as they are received ...

Just a little post to thank all of our family, friends, customers and the business that have supported us and continue to grow with us as we head into 2025.

It always gives us great pleasure to do what we do, and I don’t suppose we will be up to much at 9am tomorrow 🎉🍻 🍾🥂, but look forward to carrying on with our work into the new year.

From looking tired to just how they are supposed to.

Full refurbishment includes the gold lettering, new stainless steel dowels and anchor plus a reinforced concrete foundation to adhere to the BRAMM best practice so the memorial remains safe.

The Harry Richards garden is looking wonderful at the moment, I’ll be down at the grand opening with the team from WE ARE WHITCHURCH on Saturday morning ❤️

The Harry Richards Garden in Jubilee Park is a beautifully reflective space, maintained by our Facilities Team and voluntary group, WE ARE WHITCHURCH. It is also home to the memorial slate hearts (provided by Yates Memorials). A lot of effort has gone in to make this space what it is today, for which we're really grateful ....

Open from 9am daily, the Garden is currently closed when our team leave for the day (4pm), due to the threat of vandalism, which we have previously experienced here and elsewhere. However, we are looking at extending hours over the Summer months, where possible ... and it's open at weekends in case you can't make it down during the week.

In the meantime, if you are unable to visit when the Garden is usually open, and wish to visit the slate hearts, please email clerk@whitchurchcouncil.uk and we will happily make special arrangements for you ...
