Our covid vaccinations start on Monday the 22nd of April. To book an appointment please visit the NHS website https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/covid-19-services/covid-19-vaccination-services/book-covid-19-vaccination/
Or call 119 for booking over the phone.
If we are no longer showing up on the NHS website it means we are fully booked. This will be upated daily.
Please note we cannot book your appointment in pharmacy or over the phone.
The criteria for this vaccine is over 75 years old and over (before 30th june 2024) or those under 75 who are immunosuppressed - please bring evidence of this.

JOB OPPURTUNITY

Description

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
Gain experience in retail Learn about over-the-counter medicines
Assist in dispensing prescription medicines
Order pharmaceutical stock
Advise customers on over-the-counter medication
Assist with minor ailments

Entry requirements:

GCSE Maths and English desirable.

Training to be provided:

Pharmacy services assistant Level 2 (GCSE)

Functional skills if required.

Things to consider:

Learning will be delivered online in a live virtual classroom environment in the pharmacy, so candidates need to be competent in and have access to a computer.

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

Hours per week 40 alternating 9am-6pm one week and then 12pm-9pm the next. Includes alternating weekends.

Salary £211.2 per week
Duration 15 months
