I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an Accredited Registrant with the National Counselling Society (NCS) which are the associations for members of the counselling professions in the UK. The relationship between therapist and client is an important factor is facilitating change and I offer an environment that is non-judgemental, inclusive and empathic. Over the years, I have worked with many different people of all ages from children through to older adults, from different backgrounds and cultures, each with their own individual experiences. I work with people who want to understand themselves on a deeper level, or who use therapy as an ongoing way to maintain their happiness and well-being. It is not always easy to face difficulties and find ways to resolve them, but I have worked with and seen people find ways to understand themselves in a d way that brings about the changes which then lead to more positive, fulfilled and interesting ways of living. The therapeutic process can help you to grow in times of anxiety and mental stress and become a stronger version of yourself. I have studied many differing modalities over the years, and now use an approach that includes aspects of these within my practice including solution focused, trauma informed, brief solution focused, with maintaining a person centred approach at the heart of all I do, putting the person at the centre of the therapeutic journey. It's natural to feel apprehensive or uncertain about what to expect from therapy if you haven't been before. I will provide a welcoming and non-judgemental environment for us to explore together what you feel and look at how this is negatively impacting your life which will then support you to work towards feeling happier and more fulfilled.

Today marks 7 years since Nic grew her wings and we'd like to take a moment to remember her.

Tonight is a special night as we gather to honor her memory. Nic's Voices of Hope will be open as usual, and we'd love for you to join us. 🦋

As a special tribute, we'll be letting off fireworks at Westfield and St Benedicts around 6:30 pm. The display will be short, lasting about 5 minutes, and we'd love for you to be there to share in the remembrance

Let's light up the sky like Nic did a room.

Grief can be isolating, especially after miscarriage or baby loss. Our support group provides a non-judgemental environment where you can express your emotions, find support and connect with others who truly understand.

After months of planning, The Willow Space is now ready to welcome you – a calm and carefully created room for counsellors, therapists and professionals.

I’m proud and really pleased to share something I’ve been working hard on – The Willow Space, based in Stirling Place, Cleator Moor.

As a counsellor, I know how important the right environment is. I’ve put my heart into creating a calm, welcoming and professional room that offers a unique space for counselling, therapy, one-to-one work, or simply as a quiet alternative to working from home or a busy office.

The room is on the ground floor, furnished with comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, and refreshments. There is also free parking, and hire is flexible – available all week, with options for early starts, late finishes and weekends.

The Willow Space is available on an affordable and flexible basis, with a range of booking options to suit you.
