It was a pleasure to visit Seaton Pharmacy to meet Matthew and Caroline, who run Seaton and Mirehouse pharmacies.

Community pharmacists are at the heart of local healthcare and the new deal with Community Pharmacy England agreed by the Government recently means patients in West Cumbria will receive more services, as community pharmacies receive record investment.

Lots more work still to do but we’re slowly fixing the mess left behind by the previous government.

Tax Credits end on 5th April 2025. If you would normally tick the Tax Credit box as your prescription exemption you may not still automaticaaly qualify for FREE prescriptions. Please make sure you have ticked the right box.

The NHS National Booking Service opens tomorrow to book for your COVID Spring Booster. It is a very limited cohort so please make sure you qualify before you book, you will be turned away if you book and you do not fit the cohort. Book online or call 119. Do NOT call the pharmacy as all appoinments need to be made on the National Booking Service this allows us to manage our vaccine.
