A little update on CMD Sport Massage Therapy -

I’m currently 8 months pregnant & can’t wait to meet our little girl💗🥹 I’ll be taking some time off to prepare and relax before she arrives & soak in every moment once she’s here! So I won’t be taking any more appointments until further notice.

Please keep an eye out on this page for an update to when I’ll be back up and running, along with a brand new space to welcome my clients to!🎉

✨1 year anniversary of CMD Sport Massage Therapy✨

💕I would like to thank everyone for the support & everyone that’s booked in with me over the last year!

🗓️A little bit about the last year-
As many of you may know, this time last year CMD Sport Massage Therapy was going to be my main job. However after Christmas I was given the opportunity to pursue a career as a whole time firefighter🚒 Due to this, my appointment availability has been very limited but I appreciate those that have helped make this possible and have been very understanding regarding appointments.

🟢⚪️ I’d also like to thank Whitland 1XV team for allowing me to be their pitch side first aider for another year. This has helped me develop my knowledge and continue to analyse injuries and treat them.

💰November 2024-
As it’s 1 year since I’ve opened, I’d like to offer a 20% discount on all appointments during the month of November. As mentioned above, appointments are very limited, so please get in touch to secure a space.

30 minutes = £20
1 hour - £30
1 hour 30 minutes - £40

Here’s what CMD Sport Massage Therapy has to offer & my prices:

Half hour treatment would be recommended for anyone seeking upper body only or lower body only treatment.

Hour treatment would be recommended for full body massage, however an hour slot can be booked for just upper body or lower body treatment if desired.

Hour & a half treatment would be recommended for a full body massage including MET stretching (perfect for pre event - to get the body in optimal shape).

Injury assessment is also available for those seeking guidance in a specific injury from their sport. This would be an hour session.

Treatment during appointments vary based on the client, however here as some of techniques used:

- Deep Tissue Massage
- Deep Friction
- Myofascial Release
- Lymphatic Drainage
- Soft Tissue Release
- Neuromuscular Techniques (NMT)
- Muscular Energy Techniques (MET)
- Active & passive stretching

I am also fully qualified in strapping for sport & kinesiology taping, if required by any clients.

About me👇

I graduated Swansea University with a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science in 2022🎓. Whilst studying at university I completed my training as a retained (on-call) firefighter at my local station, where I’ve been working for over two years now👩🏽‍🚒. Over the last couple of months, I’ve been working hard to gain my Level 3 Sport Massage Therapy qualification🎓. I also work alongside Whitland RFC 1XV team as their first aider for games, & can now offer the team further guidance in pre and post game treatment / rehabilitation ⛑️.

I have a passion for always trying to help others and enjoy developing people’s understanding of how the body really works (It fascinates me🧠). I’m looking forward to putting my skills to work, meeting new clients and helping them on their journey to a happier, healthier & healed body.
