s a small car park at the front of the home in the unnumbered bays as well as on street parking. The closest Metro Station to the home is West Monkseaton located on Earsdon Road or the local buses 57, 57A, W1 and W1A which have a pick up and drop off point at the Metro Station and then a 0.5 mile walk to the home.

We enjoyed another trip out, this time to Whitley Bay Beach, where we walked along the prom. Reminiscing as we walked and chatted.
We enjoyed Beverages in The Beefeater whilst Woody settled into watch the footy. On the minibus Woody started the sing along The Blandon Races. On the way back, Duncan, the Myley driver drove past the lighthouse and Delaval Hall, bringing back more memries for everyone!

Those living with us here at Earsdon Grange had lots of fun with new entertainer Derek Hodgson. We had drinks, snacks, dressing up, singing and dancing. Everyone had a great evening and we are looking forward to more entertainment from Derek in the future.

We had a lovely Easter. Today we made Easter Bonnets and in the afternoon we had a hat parade where 3 of the people living with us chose the winners. All who took part got a Cadburys Creme Egg!

I took one of our resident's, Bill, out in the community to get some shopping. I supported him in and around the shop, and he helped pack the shopping. This was a great achievement as Bill is vision and hearing impaired but was well up for the challenge.
