What a fab session with the ladies from the Together We Rise Up Community...

Lead by Christina and Lauren, we enjoyed some networking and a chance to chat with Sarah from Pamoja, Janet Ewens, from doTERRA Oils, Natures Best Oils and Nat from Temple of the Stars by Nat

Got to catch up with some old friends but also got to make some new friends too... ☺️

Craziest part of the session? When 5 names were randomly drawn out of a collection of about 30, for a bottle of gorgeous doTerra oil - 4 of the bottles went to the 4 holistic therapists (Edwina at Sound Therapy North East and Debbie Stokoe, Natalie and me) all sat together at... and the best bit? None of us were surprised!! ✨️💛✨️

I’m doing two talks next week. I’m in BIRMINGHAM of Monday (14th Oct) and NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE on Tuesday (15th).

In Birmingham, I’ll be speaking about how kindness is much more than just something that you do, that it’s a powerhouse that has a considerable impact on your brain, heart, immune system, and even how your body ages.

In Newcastle-upon-Tyne, I’ll be speaking about the mind-body-connection and how to harness it for health and wellness. I’ll be discussing the placebo effect, how meditation impacts the brain, how visualisation shapes brain circuits, how some states can powerfully impact the heart and immune system, and even how to use visualisation practices to assist healing and recovery.

To avoid blaming either yourself or others, you can try stepping back and asking yourself how you may have contributed to the situation. This can help you prevent the problem from reoccurring. Looking for a solution rather than someone to blame may result in a more positive outcome.

I'm going to be bold and share two different goals, one work-related one and one personal one, with two different people, both of whom I trust implicitly.They're definitely achievable and knowing that someone else knows your goals, adds a little bit of accountability too... 🤩

So, where do I start?!?! 🙈😂

I'm going out on a limb and committing to 2 tasks - one work-related related and one home/life-related:

🔸️ Do some prep for The Northern Lass Lounge Instagram workshop (which is tomorrow!! 👀)

🔸️ Sort out the coat cupboard in the hall (that currently resembles a jumble sale!! 👀)

EDIT: I'm not sure where this post went this morning so here is the post-post post/update!!

As a result of today's efforts, I can now:

A) attend tomorrow's Instagram workshop safe in the knowledge that I will be the person in the room, who understands Instagram the least... 🤔🤦🏼‍♀️🤷‍♀️😂

B) confidently open the hall cupboard door without fear of things falling down or off hooks and actually knowing exactly what is in said cupboard!! 🧥🥾🧣🧤

I really do feel so much better!! 🙌🤩
