๐ŸŒŸ REMINDER - ONLINE SESSION TONIGHT!!! ๐ŸŒŸ

๐Ÿ“šEducation Review within North Tyneside ๐Ÿ“š

North Tyneside Council has launched a consultation on the future of some schools in our area.

We understand this may be especially worrying if your child or young person has SEND (special educational needs and/or disabilities).

To support you in responding to the consultation, weโ€™ve arranged three dedicated sessions where you can meet with us and talk through your thoughts.

Representatives from North Tyneside Council will also be there to answer any questions.

These sessions are only for parents and carers of children/young people with SEND and do not replace the consultation. You still need to complete it via the official link -
https://haveyoursay.northtyneside.gov.uk/.../education...

If you would like to come to one of the sessions, you must book a place ๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿ‘‰ Eating Disorder Research ๐Ÿ‘ˆ

The Beat - the national eating disorders charity - are conducting two surveys to help inform a Toolkit to inform the development of Intensive Home Treatment (IHT) and Daycare services for individuals with an eating disorder.

There are two surveys - one for people with experience of working in eating disorders in any capacity, and another for people with lived experience (including carers).

They ask about your experience working in / setting up / researching or exploring IHT and Daycare offers.

They also ask you about what chapters you want to see included in the forthcoming toolkit which is expected in 2026.

The surveys close at 9am on 20 October.

We have attached a link below to the lived experience survey for any of our followers who may wish to contribute.
