The Easter holidays can be a really handy time to get little jobs ticked off the list — and a children’s eye exam is a good one to sneak in there 👓🐣

Lots of parents are surprised to hear that a school vision check is not the same as a full eye exam. School checks are usually just a quick screening to pick up whether a child might have reduced vision, whereas a full eye examination looks much more closely at your child’s vision and eye health.

Children do not always mention when something is not quite right with their sight — often because they think everyone sees the same way they do — which is why regular eye exams are so important.
