It seems everybody is so focussed on reinventing the wheel when it comes to their goals that they totally bypass the fundamentals.
Also, the days really are starting to get a lot warmer now, so bare that in mind.

I have been helping women for almost a decade now. 😮

Guiding them to drop up to 5-8kg in 3 months and KEEP IT OFF 🤯

Stop reaching for crazy fad TikTok trends and advice or following the same plan as your neighbour. ✋

It really is the simplest actions that will make the biggest changes. BUT that doesn’t mean it’s easy!

I forget I’ve been coaching for almost 10 years now…

Recently I have been lucky enough to deliver my Nutritional Wellness talks to organisations along the Sunshine Coast.

These talks allow people to adopt simple changes within their current lifestyle.

Enabling more productivity, more energy and more vigour for life.

Whilst steering them closer to any specific goal they are working towards.

Recent months 🌟

Creating that fine balance of coaching, working, socialising, studying and relaxing. ☺️

But don’t get me wrong, throughout all@of this I ALWAYS make time for my mental and physical health. A huge non-negotiable. 🫡

I however always make sure my training is enough for me to manage, and that everything else get done as well.

When coaching clients it is important to create a programme that works for THEM and for them to understand our lives are so individual. 👾

Focusing on somebody elses results whilst you live a completely different lifestyle and hold unique genetics is not going to get you any closer to where you want to be, it’s most likely going to hinder your progression … so be kinder to yourself and your progress! 🤗

Most of us go on holiday to try and escape something…weather, stress, kids… 🤷‍♀️

But at some point we always return to the reality of life. ☔️

Instead of living in ‘Holiday Mode’ we should make small changes in our lives to make it a little bit more bearable and less torturous. Looking at ways to find things easier. to cope and deal
With day by day, instead of dreaming of that next escape ✈️

Which always ends in huge holiday blues and a greyer outlook on reality than before you left 😢

What I’m trying to say is…
Holidays can be like diets, they only last so long before you crash back to reality. 💥

When I’m working with my clients we work closely together on building habits and relationships with food that are much more manageable. They won’t result in crash and fad diets that bring you plummeting back down to earth. 😩

Instilling small changes in your daily dietary habits that are maintainable and sustainable will create a much healthier relationship with food and guarantee you much better results. 🫡

You may continue to take diet breaks, but won’t pile the weight back on (and more) after and come out feeling much more in control afterwards. 💋

But don’t get me wrong, holidays are AMAZING, Just don’t use them to escape your problems (with food) because it’s the same sh*t on the other side. 🙌

Back in 2018/19 when I knew I was going to be packing up in the UK and sell my Gym, I started to listen to a podcast called the . 🎙️

I’d listen to it post days when I was walking Jasmine.

Being self employed and a one man band, it gave me a different perspective on things and a lot of inspiration when growing the business.
I’d listen religiously, and look out for all new episodes. 🤯

When I started to transition into Online I remember messaging the host, asking if she was doing any content on this, funnily enough it was the next episode.
I told her I’d be moving to Australia and ‘one day’ hope to be big enough to be on her podcast.
(Totally Fan Girling at the time 🙈 ).

A few years later I am here in Australia, building myself up in the ranks again and perusing my dream in public speaking as a health and fitness expert.

When I was out running in Thursday night I ran past a woman I recognised immediately as the host of The Fitness Business Podcast. 😯

Long story short I was compelled to introduce myself and share this story with her as it was such a bizarre moment.
From the North East of England to the Sunshine Coast of Australia, who would have thought we would have ended up running together at the same event on Thursday all these years late.

It once again proved that the Sunny Coast is my place and I am around the right people to really succeed. 🚀

Just a cool little story for you. Ignore the fact I look like Skeletor (I’d just ran a rapid 3k).

You know me, I am all for less talking and more doing when it comes to our goals….YOUR goals! 👆🏼

Talk is cheap, but actions can say a lot about somebody. 

It really never is the right time and we can conjure up 101 reasons why something won’t work or why we shouldn’t do something. But when you take a moment to focus on that ONE reason why you should take that leap and work towards your desired goal. You’ll find it is so much easier to achieve. 

The best things in life aren’t easy to come by and aren’t cheap, and I mean emotionally and physically. They take work, but the payoff can be life-changing. 

But if you never TRY, ASK, QUESTION, SEARCH, EXPLORE. You will simply KNOW, EXPERIENCE, ACHIEVE, FEEL, BENEFIT.

Don’t watch others achieve your desires. Get started today. AND PLEASE DONT WAIT UNTIL MONDAY! 😖

Ocean Fit has been part of Whitley Bays Health and Fitness Scene for almost 4 years now.
