5 uncomfortable questions you should ask yourself if you really want to improve your health and hormones ⬇️
We all have good intentions but to really make changes to our health we need consistency and support. I find that many of my clients desperately want to improve their health but there are many things holding them back, which I help to coach them through to identify where their blocks are and how to make some gentle changes. Here are some questions that you should ask yourself to determine how ready you really are to achieve your goals.
1️⃣ Am I prioritising myself?
If your health is always coming last after work, family and other obligations, you will never reach your health goals.
2️⃣ Do my daily actions align with where I want to be?
It’s not your intentions that shape your health, but the small, repeated choices you make every day. Are you prioritising exercise? Are you eating 6-8 portions of veg? Are you managing your stress? Are you getting enough sleep?
3️⃣ Do I have relationships that are holding me back?
Do your friends only want to be around you when you’re drinking alcohol? Does your partner support your efforts or do they pressure you to eat unhealthily? Think about where you need your boundaries to be, and if the people in your life are on the right or wrong side of them.
4️⃣ Am I using food to cope or to nourish?
Be honest about whether you’re eating for health, energy and balance, or to push through exhaustion, numb emotions, or reward yourself for surviving the day.
5️⃣ Am I listening to my body’s signals or am I ignoring them?
The body whispers before it shouts. Listen to the signals – bloating, low energy, mood swings, brain fog, painful periods – your body is trying to tell you something.
