Dr Beverley Mears Psychotherapy Whitstable Bay Psychotherapy Service offers a confidential psychotherapy service which includes brie She is able to offer face to face and Online supervision.

Dr Beverley Mears has 25yrs experience of working within the Mental Health setting. She is registered as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist with UKCP and Section and and holds to their ethical standards. Beverley’s career has been as a Consultant Psychotherapist and Locality Lead for a Psychological Therapy Service within an NHS Secondary Care Community Mental Health Team and in Private Practice. Beverley has a special interest in working with personality disorders and completed her doctoral thesis on the connection between object relations, problems with sexual intimacy and OCD. Beverley is a qualified supervisor and is registered with BAPPS. Beverley has been supervising and training counsellors and psychotherapists since 2004 and is able to offer face to face and online supervision. Beverley set up Whitstable Bay Psychotherapy Service in 2015 and now has a consortium of psychotherapists offering different modalities working with her. The service also has a number of trainee psychotherapists who offer a Low Cost Therapy Service. Whitstable Bay Psychotherapy Service offers the following treatment models:

- Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy for individuals and couples

- Integrative Psychotherapy

- CBT

- Couples and Family Interventions

- MBT for individuals

- EMDR

Low Cost Psychotherapy Available

We are now looking for individuals who would be interested in attending low cost psychotherapy for the following treatment lengths with one of our psychotherapy trainees starting in September:

- Once a week for 12months fees from £35 a session.

- Once a week for 18months from £35 a session.

- Twice weekly for either 12 or 18months from £30 a session.

In the coming months we will be looking for training patients for our psychotherapists in training. The commitment required is to agree to remain in psychotherapy for a minimum of 1yr - 18months. Fees will begin at £35.

We are currently taking low cost clients to be seen by trainee psychotherapists on a Doctoral level of training.

We particularly need someone who is longing for a minimum of 1year treatment as well as those looking for a brief intervention. Fee £40 per session.
