WHAT IS BOWEN THERAPY (& SCAR RELEASE THERAPY further down)
Bowen Therapy is fascial release. It is a naturally gentle and non-invasive treatment suitable for all the family. BOWEN TREATMENT
Treatment is gentle and relaxing, given over light clothing, and carried out at a relaxed, focused pace. Bowen enables the body to rebalance, reset and restore function through a series of gently-rolling connective-tissue moves. These moves are made by thumb and fingertips on precise points on the body. Holistic assessments are carried out at every session. We often find that the place of pain may not necessarily be the primary source of dysfunction. Most common simple ailments are generally resolved within a few treatments. Chronic (long term) conditions may take a little longer, dependent on each individual case. BOWEN HAS BEEN OBSERVED TO WITH:-
pain management
muscular and skeletal pain
sports injuries
nerve pain
fibromyalgia
hyper-mobility syndrome
chronic fatigue
headaches and migraines
asthma, allergies
hay fever
stress and tension
sleep problems
digestive issues
hormone imbalance
fertility
pregnancy
new borns
whiplash

ADDED BENEFITS OF TREATMENT are improved sleep quality, increased energy, improved concentration and focus, overall relaxation and a more positive outlook on life. ATHLETES & PERFORMING ARTISTS are discovering that regular Bowen treatment enhances performance and reduces the incidence of injury. When injury does occur, especially soft tissue damage, Bowen can bring rapid relief and a quick return to practice. WHAT IS FASCIA
Fascia is EVERYWHERE! Controlling everything, forming our body, keeping everything in place. Fascia is a highly resilient, responsive, opaque, connective tissue primarily made of collagen. The fascia is a body wide system which lies beneath the skin attaching, stabilising, enveloping and separating every muscle and organ. FASCIA & NERVOUS SYSTEM
The fascia and the nervous system are two separate entities but work together as an integrated whole. Bowen treatment, through gentle pressure on fascia, communicates to the nervous system that there is no longer any need for increased tension in that area. So, by influencing deeply held tensions in one part of the body, we begin to initiate a cascading effect of unraveling and releasing of tensions in other parts of the body and also in the mind. SELINA FIRTH, Bowen Therapist
Selina is a qualified and experienced Bowen therapist and has been treating clients since 2011. Her Whitstable clinics are busy treating people of all ages, from babies to elders, addressing a wide range of health issues. She often runs clinics in London and Hastings and regularly attends post-graduate courses to deepen her understanding of Bowen therapy and the emerging science of Fascia. SELINA PROVIDES MSTR® - McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release. MSTR®
McLoughlin Scar Release is effective on all kinds of scarring,
for example..
▪️ C-sections
▪️ Hysterectomy
▪️ Mastectomy
▪️ Spinal surgery
▪️ Head wound scars
▪️ Amputation
▪️ Underlying scar tissue from laparoscopic surgery
▪️ Internal scarring eg hamstring tears

McLoughlin Scar Release is extremely gentle,
with no deep pressure or friction,
Which can..
✅ Change the appearance and texture of the scar
✅ Bring you out of discomfort
✅ Regain range of movement, that scarring had previously tethered down
✅ Help increase lymphatic flow
✅ Also have a big effect on the nervous system linked to other problems

Did you know? Un-resolving back pain can often be caused by abdominal scarring. If a client has back pain and has had abdominal surgery, I work with MSTR firstly. I can then see what residual tensions remain, and where necessary, proceed with Bowen fascial release. Notice: Bowen Therapy is not intended as a substitute for medical advice or treatment. If in doubt please seek medical advice from your Doctor.

In October 2019, a provocative concept emerged on the fringe of biophysics: DNA may do more than store genetic instructions—it may also receive information. The idea proposed that DNA functions like a biological antenna, resonating with Earth’s electromagnetic environment and remaining in constant interaction with external fields. Reports linked to the work claimed that isolated DNA fragments reacted to electromagnetic signals even outside the body, with the response ceasing immediately when the signal source was removed. Shortly after the findings were presented, the laboratory was reportedly shut down for “renovations,” research access ended, and related publications quietly vanished. If true, the implications are profound. Biology may not be a closed system driven solely by internal code, but a finely tuned network interacting continuously with its environment. This perspective suggests life functions more like a dynamic signal system than a static blueprint. Comparable ideas have appeared in the controversial research of Nobel laureate Luc Montagnier, who described electromagnetic signals emitted by DNA and its interaction with water. One remaining line attributed to the disputed research captures the essence of the theory: “If DNA is an antenna, then all living beings are connected through one field. We are not born—we are switched on.” This notion parallels themes found in 21 Days From Limitation to Quantum Transformation by Quantara, which frames DNA as an antenna that aligns thought and intention with a broader quantum field. Whether this represents suppressed science or a misunderstood frontier remains unresolved. But it raises a striking question: what if DNA is not just inherited information, but a signal we are constantly receiving?

Scientists successfully transmitted electricity through air using ultrasonic sound waves and laser beams.

Finland is positioning itself at the forefront of a wireless energy revolution, with researchers from the University of Helsinki and the University of Oulu pioneering methods to move electricity without physical cables.

One of the most striking developments involves using high-intensity ultrasonic sound waves to create invisible pathways through the air, effectively guiding electrical sparks along a controlled route.

While currently in the experimental phase, this 'acoustic wire' technology could eventually enable contactless electrical connections and smart interfaces that function entirely without plugs or traditional wiring.

Beyond sound-guided energy, Finnish innovation is also leveraging light and radio frequencies to solve complex power challenges. The private sector is developing 'power-by-light' systems that utilize high-powered lasers to transmit electricity to remote receivers, providing critical galvanic isolation for hazardous environments like nuclear plants and high-voltage stations. Simultaneously, advancements in radio-frequency harvesting are turning ambient waves into 'Wi-Fi for power,' potentially eliminating the need for millions of disposable batteries in low-power IoT sensors. Together, these technologies signal a shift toward a more flexible, cable-free infrastructure for global industry.

Believing in yourself sparks endless possibilities. ✨

Repost : .official

“Everything depends on what is in our hearts. . . If we decide to ourselves that something is impossible, then, consistent with our minds in thinking so, even something that is possible for us will become impossible. On the other hand, if we have the confidence that we can definitely do something, then we are already one step closer to achieving it in reality.”—Daisaku Ikeda

Love this don’t you?

Quantum physics shows that the solid world we perceive is actually made of energy lines, emptiness, and probability — not physical matter.

For centuries, we have viewed the universe as a collection of solid objects, but quantum physics is dismantling that illusion.

At the heart of every atom lies not a tiny, hard marble, but a swirling electric storm of probability and vibration. Scientists have proven that what we perceive as physical substance is actually a series of ghostlike force fields and resonant waves dancing in a vast, silent void.

This fundamental shift in understanding suggests that the material world is less like a construction site of fixed parts and more like a complex symphony of energetic happenings.

This discovery challenges our very sense of identity, suggesting that we are not solid beings inhabiting a solid world, but rather intricate patterns of energy echoing through space. If the foundation of reality is built on probability instead of substance, the boundaries between the observer and the observed begin to blur. We are part of a continuous, dynamic dance where nothing is truly static, reminding us that existence is an ongoing process of vibration rather than a collection of independent, inanimate things.

A molecule in cruciferous vegetables has been found to eliminate cavity-causing bacteria.

Hiding within your daily serving of broccoli and cabbage is a powerful molecule that could transform the future of dental care.

Known as 3,3′-diindolylmethane (DIM), this natural compound has demonstrated a remarkable ability to dismantle the protective defenses of Streptococcus mutans, the primary bacteria responsible for tooth decay.

In recent laboratory studies, DIM successfully eliminated up to 90% of bacterial biofilms by preventing the formation of the sticky layers that allow plaque to thrive on teeth. By stripping away this biological shield, the compound leaves harmful microbes significantly more vulnerable and easier to remove.

The potential applications for DIM extend far beyond the laboratory, as researchers suggest it could become a standard additive in toothpaste, mouthwash, and other oral-care products. Unlike harsh chemicals, this plant-derived molecule offers a low-toxicity alternative that targets specific harmful bacteria without disrupting the overall balance of the mouth. Furthermore, DIM is already recognized for its potent anti-cancer properties, highlighting its role as a versatile powerhouse for human health. This breakthrough signals a shift toward natural, multi-functional ingredients that address both hygiene and long-term wellness.

This changes everything…

The universe may be far more interconnected than previously imagined. Astronomers at the University of Hawaiʻi, analyzing motion data from over 56,000 galaxies, propose that the Milky Way might lie within a gravitational structure ten times the volume of the already immense Laniākea supercluster.

This newly suggested region, anchored by the massive Shapley concentration, challenges current models of cosmic structure and extends the boundaries of our mapped universe.

The discovery, published in Nature Astronomy, invites a rethinking of how galactic movements are influenced on a colossal scale.

The researchers liken the cosmos to a system of rivers and basins, where galaxies flow along gravitational currents shaped by immense attractors. This analogy paints a picture of the universe as a dynamic and interconnected web, with invisible gravitational highways guiding galaxies over billions of light-years. The findings suggest that our current maps may capture just a fraction of a deeper cosmic architecture, hinting at the existence of even larger structures—and perhaps a more unified universe—than science has yet observed.

On the longest night of the year, many will be planting seeds of intentions, to call in the return of the light. This is a melody for rebirth and healing. It’s been knocking on my door for a few days now, so figured it’s for all of us.

As you sing along or hum this to yourself, think of what you’re calling in, and what you’re letting go of. Think of how far you’ve come this year. Think of the nourishment and wellness you wish for those around you, and around the world.

Also if you listen carefully you can hear my turtle walking around in the background 🐢 😆
