An opportunity to give yourself space, rest and joyful connection with other beautiful women and with nature at this gorgeous venue. Sacred Earth Chants Song Circle TODAY 2pm Shakti Den - Whitstable no need to book you can just turn up to join our small welcoming group. No experience necessary, all voices valued. Simple rounds and harmonies with songs celebrating the Earth and the elements and our connection in this Imbolc window. Feel-good, immune boosting, coregulating and fun! ♥️🎶♥️

You do need to book week 3 if you want to borrow a drum, and week 4 as we keep the group small for safe vocal processing. Otherwise feel free to just join.
£12 drop-in £40 block of 4 consecutive sessions starting any week of the month.

This was our centrepiece today. Snowdrops for Imbolc and all the elements represented. And E made the heart. Such a lovely session, next one 7th March, same time same place 🙏❤️
Also SO looking forward to doing some of these dances barefoot on the land as it starts to warm up 💚💚💚

Toning and Overtoning TODAY 2pm (First Mon of month):
Unexpectedly powerful yet so simple. Discover how to calm your nervous system with your own voice as we co-regulate each other in a small welcoming group. Polyvagal theory and ancient sound come together here.

Toning is an ancient practice used for meditation and healing where you sing a long vowel sound (like oo or ah) on the same pitch for the whole breath. It is quite easy to do even if you don’t see yourself as a singer. It is usually a really feel-good practice and very relaxing. It can also be a very powerful practice especially when combined with the power of intention.

Overtone Chanting is an ancient meditative healing practice where you produce more than one sound at a time. The overtones are already there so by changing the shape of the mouth and tongue these other tones are amplified thus creating whistling type harmonics above the main note. Magical, beautiful, Otherworldly; the practice can facilitate trance / journey / meditative states. It has its roots in spiritual practice around the world such as Tibet and Mongolia. We will learn Western overtoning which is easiest on the voice. Suitable for complete beginners and those with more experience.

Finally, people who would like to are invited to lie or sit in the centre of the circle to receive from the group, for something particular or just to receive the sound. This is often felt to be a beautiful nurturing and often powerful experience.

*This session is offered as part of a 4 week block of different sound and voice sessions. £12 drop-in if there is space or £40 for block of 4. Start on any week of the month.

We have a longer regular Earth Chants session at Quiet View near Canterbury around each seasonal shift. Next one Sunday 23rd March for the Spring Equinox. Small nurturing group.🎶

We also have a monthly Sacred Sisterhood which is a course over 3 Sundays at Quiet View 10am-530pm Spring Spiral is 16th March, 11th April and 18th May
