Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or not quite yourself? You’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

I work with children, teenagers, and adults at Willow Therapies in Chestfield, Kent, offering gentle, supportive sessions that are tailored to you not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Some clients come for:
✨ Anxiety & worry
✨ Stress & overwhelm
✨ Fears & phobias
✨ Teen anxiety & school stress
✨ Emotional regulation
✨ Confidence & self-belief
✨ Sleep & relaxation support

Sessions can include a blend of hypnotherapy, talking therapy, CBT-based techniques, and calming strategies, depending on what feels right and comfortable for you (or your child). Some people prefer mostly talking. Others like relaxation and guided imagery. We decide together.

As a parent myself, I know how important it is to feel heard, safe, and not judged especially for children and teens. Sessions are calm, friendly, and paced gently.

If you’re an adult in Chestfield or the surrounding areas and you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in your head, or just not quite yourself lately, you’re not alone.

I work with adults who come to me for many different reasons anxiety, stress, overthinking, low confidence, sleep problems, habits they want to change, or simply feeling emotionally worn down.

I use a gentle mix of CBT-informed talking therapy techniques and hypnotherapy, and every session is tailored to you as an individual not a one-size-fits-all approach.

The CBT side helps us slow things down and make sense of what’s going on in your mind the thought patterns, self-talk and habits that can keep you feeling stuck.

Hypnotherapy then works at a deeper, calmer level helping your nervous system settle, easing emotional overload, and allowing change to happen without pressure. It’s nothing like stage hypnosis, and you’re always in control. Most people describe it as deeply relaxing.

Some clients prefer more talking.
Some prefer more hypnotherapy.
Many find that the combination helps them understand what’s going on and feel real relief.

I offer a calm, supportive space here in Chestfield, and I always start with a free, no-pressure telephone consultation, so you can ask questions and see if I feel like the right fit for you.

As a parent myself, I know how hard it is to watch your child struggle with big feelings they don’t yet have the words for.

Anxiety, worries, fears, emotional overwhelm for children as young as 7, these feelings can show up in ways that don’t always make sense. Tummy aches, tears, anger, shutting down, trouble sleeping, school worries… often it’s their emotions asking for help.

At Willow Therapies, I support children gently and at their pace.

Before we do anything therapeutic, I take time to get to know your child.
We talk, we play, we build trust.

There’s no pressure to “open up” straight away.

Sessions often include:
🌿 Play and games
🌿 Fidget toys and hands-on activities
🌿 Simple explanations that help children understand what’s happening in their body and mind
🌿 A gentle mix of talking approaches and hypnotherapy-based techniques (always age-appropriate and child-led)

Some children prefer to talk.
Some prefer to play.
Some like a calm, imaginative approach.

That’s absolutely okay.

My aim isn’t to change who your child is it’s to help them understand their emotions, feel safer with their feelings, and learn tools they can use when worries show up.

At Willow Therapies, there isn’t a “one way fits all” approach.
Because real people aren’t one-size-fits-all either.

Some adults come to me wanting space to talk things through to make sense of anxiety, stress, low mood, confidence issues, overwhelm, or just feeling a bit stuck.

Others are curious about hypnotherapy a calmer, deeper way of working with the mind when talking alone feels like it keeps going round in circles.

And many people choose a gentle mix of both.

What matters is this:
👉 you get to choose.

Some sessions are more conversational.
Some are more relaxed and guided.
Some naturally blend the two.

There’s no pressure to do hypnotherapy if it doesn’t feel right for you.
And no expectation to “talk everything out” if your mind needs something different.

At Willow Therapies, I work with children and teenagers who are struggling with things like anxiety, worries, fears, phobias, low confidence and big, overwhelming emotions.

For some young people, it shows up as tummy aches, panic, meltdowns or refusing school.
For others, it’s the quiet stuff – overthinking, shutting down, or feeling “different” but not knowing why.

I don’t believe there’s a one-size-fits-all approach.

Some children prefer to talk.
Some like gentle techniques, stories, visuals or imagination.
Some teenagers just want someone neutral who really listens, without judgement.

That’s why my sessions are always child-led and teen-led.

I’m trained in hypnotherapy and use a blend of gentle talking therapy, CBT-informed techniques and creative approaches, adapting each session to the individual in front of me. Hypnotherapy is never forced – some children love it, others don’t use it at all, and that’s completely okay.

As a mum, and someone with both personal and professional experience supporting children and young people (including those with ASD and ADHD), I know how important it is for them to feel safe, understood and in control.

I always start with a free telephone consultation with parents, so we can talk things through properly and see if I’m the right fit for your child.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while…

Over time, I’ve noticed something really important.
Many of the people who come to see me don’t always want hypnotherapy they want space to talk, to understand their thoughts, to feel calmer and more in control.

And that’s okay.

Some sessions include hypnotherapy.
Some are talking-based, using CBT-informed techniques.
Many are a gentle mix of both always led by what feels right for the client.

Because of this, you may start to see me using the name Willow Therapies alongside Willow Hypnotherapy.
It reflects what I already do: flexible, client-led emotional support with hypnotherapy as an option, not a requirement.

Nothing is changing about how I work.
Just a clearer way of describing it.

If you’ve ever wondered whether you’d “have to” do hypnotherapy you don’t.
We simply start where you are 💚

Most people think hypnotherapy is just closing your eyes and drifting off…
But that’s not really how I work.

Yes, hypnotherapy is part of what I do.
But a lot of the work happens before that.

It’s the talking.
The understanding.
The “why does my body react like this?” conversations.

Some sessions are deeply relaxing.
Some are practical and grounding.
Some are about learning tools you can actually use on a hard day.

I use hypnotherapy alongside CBT-informed techniques, gentle exploration, and a very human approach because not everything needs trance, and not everyone wants it.

What matters most to me is this:
✨ that you feel heard
✨ that things make sense
✨ and that support fits you, not a label

Willow Hypnotherapy has always been about more than hypnosis.
And as my work continues to grow, so will what I offer in a way that’s ethical, supportive, and right for each individual.

Hypnotherapy for fears and phobias can help when anxiety feels automatic and out of your control.
That moment when your body reacts before your mind even has a chance to step in.

I work with people who know their fear doesn’t make sense but still feel it strongly anyway. And that’s because fears and phobias aren’t just thoughts. They’re learned body responses.

I use hypnotherapy alongside CBT techniques to help with both sides of it. CBT helps us gently understand what’s driving the fear, and hypnotherapy helps calm the nervous system so the body can feel safe again.

There’s no forcing, no pressure, and no being pushed into situations you’re not ready for. We work at your pace, building confidence and a sense of control bit by bit.

If fears or phobias are affecting daily life, support doesn’t have to feel overwhelming.
I offer a free telephone consultation and work with adults, children, and teenagers in Chestfield, Whitstable, and across Kent.

January can feel heavy when it comes to weight.

After Christmas, a lot of people come to me feeling frustrated with themselves not because they don’t know what to eat, but because food has become a comfort, a switch-off, or a way to cope when emotions feel too much.

That’s where hypnotherapy can help.

Weight loss isn’t just about willpower. For many people, binge eating, grazing, or falling back into old habits is tied to stress, overwhelm, boredom, exhaustion, or feeling out of control. I spend time gently exploring the emotional side of eating without judgement or shame.

We look at:
• Why food has become a comfort
• What triggers the “I’ll start again tomorrow” cycle
• The habits running on autopilot
• How to break patterns without feeling restricted or punished

Hypnotherapy helps calm the nervous system, shift emotional responses, and change the subconscious habits that keep pulling you back so you’re not fighting yourself all the time.

This isn’t about diets, guilt, or forcing motivation.
It’s about feeling more in control, calmer around food, and kinder to yourself while making changes that actually last.

If January has left you feeling stuck, fed up, or confused about why you keep going back to old habits, you’re not alone and you don’t have to do it through willpower alone either 💚

If you’d like to talk, I offer a free, no-pressure telephone consultation.

Teen anxiety often doesn’t look like anxiety.

It can look like anger.
Shutting down.
Refusing school.
“I’m fine” when they clearly aren’t.

I see so many teenagers who feel confused by their own reactions their heart races, their mind won’t switch off, their body feels on edge and they don’t understand why. That confusion alone can make everything feel worse.

In my sessions
Sometimes times we talk.
Sometimes we use practical tools.
Sometimes we use hypnotherapy.
Often it’s a gentle mix always led by the teenager.

I explain what’s happening in their brain and body in a way that actually makes sense, so they stop blaming themselves and start feeling more in control.

As a mum, and with both personal and professional experience supporting neurodivergent teenagers (including ASD and ADHD), I know how vulnerable this stage of life can be for teens and their parents.

If you’re wondering whether this could help your teenager, I offer a free telephone consultation with parents first.

And your teenager doesn’t need to go through this alone 💚

Supporting children and teenagers with anxiety isn’t just my job it’s something I genuinely care about.

I help children and teens with things like anxiety, exam stress, fears and phobias, big emotions, and emotional regulation. I work in a gentle, child-led way, shaped by both my professional experience and my own experience as a mum.

I’ve worked with many children and young people with ASD and ADHD, and I know that no two children are the same. Some like to talk, some prefer games, some open up through stories or imagination.

Sessions are tailored to the individual child.
Some children choose a mix of talking therapy and hypnotherapy.
Others prefer talking therapy alone using CBT techniques.
There’s no pressure and no “one size fits all” approach.

I take time to get to know each child what they enjoy, what they’re interested in, and what helps them feel comfortable. That might mean games, creative activities, or working gently around their interests so sessions feel safe rather than overwhelming.

Every session looks different, because every child is different.

I also offer a free telephone consultation with parents before any sessions, so we can talk things through properly and decide together what feels right for your child.

If your child or teenager is struggling and you’re not sure where to turn, you’re very welcome to get in touch 💚

Ever feel like part of you wants to move forward… and another part is holding you back?

Parts therapy works on the idea that we’re all made up of different parts not “multiple personalities”, just different emotional responses that developed to help us cope.
For example: a worried part, an angry part, a guilty part, or a part that just wants to hide and feel safe.

Instead of trying to get rid of these parts, parts therapy helps you:
• Understand why each part shows up
• Listen to what it’s trying to protect you from
• Gently rebalance things so no single part has to work so hard

When we understand our parts, something shifts. Anxiety often softens. Emotional reactions feel less overwhelming. People start to feel more in control of their thoughts and responses, rather than being hijacked by them.

I often blend parts therapy with hypnotherapy techniques, using calm, safe imagery to help those parts feel heard and settled without pressure, judgment, or forcing change.
