My favourite bit…a little of the science behind the sound bath, excuse me while I geek out for a second.

The multilayered tones and frequencies of a sound bath designed to bring you from that Beta brainwave state of responding, reacting, being ‘on’, and take it down into Alpha and Theta 🧠

Alpha and Theta states are those brainwave zones of relaxation, meditation, creativity and visualisation. Theta is also that state where cellular repair begins to occur, that beautiful state where you might dip in and out of consciousness, and that zone where cortisol reduces and your parasympathetic nervous system takes the wheel 😌

I get a lot of people coming to me who haven’t experienced a sound bath before - they always become repeat visitors. Some people come alone, others come with a friend or family member. However you come you are always welcome and encouraged to spend time settling into the mat and getting to know others so you’re in the perfect mindset to feel safe, held and ready to surrender to the frequencies that wash over the body. This gives you the best results and allows for whatever needs to come up to come up. Whether that’s relaxation, a visual journey with the pineal gland activated 🔵 (you might see colours or visualisations), sensations in the body, deep rest, a good cry, calm and peacefulness, whatever it is, it’s welcomed with love here ❤️

We’re making a return to the Tipi at The Manor Gardens in Birling 🏕️

Back by popular demand. These sound baths are held under the canvas of a beautiful candlelit tipi hidden away in this private gardens and woodland nestled beside an oak tree.

Think immersive nature sounds around the tipi and soothing frequencies inside, from crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls, gongs, chimes and a plethora of other percussion instruments to take you on the nervous system regulation journey you have been needing. A reminder self care is necessary 🧘‍♀️

A guided meditation will lead you into the experience where your cortisol will lower, anxiety reduces and grounding occurs. With the safety of nature sounds surrounding the tent, you will know you are safe and held in a beautiful space with positive beautiful energy ✨🪐

Herbal teas are provided and if you feel drawn to you can pull an oracle card from the deck to get some guidance and reassurance on your current path 🩶

Come with a friend or on your own, many come alone and leave feeling connected, rested and with a full and satisfied cup ❤️

How your mind feels after a 60 minute sound bath…🫠

Comments I often get at the end of a sound bath session:
“I feel so relaxed”
“I didn’t think I fell asleep but I must have”
“All the tabs in my brain feel like they have closed down”
“My body feels so heavy (in a good way)”
“My mind just went…quiet”
“I could have stayed there all night”
“I feel like my shoulders have really dropped@
“I feel properly calm and lighter”
“I didn’t want it to end”

There’s actually a reason for that “I feel like I can think straight again” feeling

When you’re lying there, your brain isn’t just relaxing…but it’s responding and reacting to the frequencies

I have always been fascinated by the science behind this modality (hello ADHD deep dive) and I often speak a little about this at the start of my sound Bath events. I think it is helpful for people to understand what is gong on during a session and understanding how it is helping them. The layered tones and frequencies give your mind something rhythmic to follow, and your brainwaves can start to slow down into that theta state (the same one linked to deep meditation and early sleep). I like ti think of it as a gateway into meditation 🙌🧘‍♀️ get your fast-pass here 😜

Studies have shown sound meditation can shift the body into a parasympathetic state, that “rest and digest” mode where your heart rate slows, breathing deepens, and your body finally feels safe enough to switch off.

There’s also a lot of research recently around sound and the vegas nerve (your nervous sustems reset button). Certain vibrations and tones can stimulate it, helping regulate stress, mood and even heart rhythm (coherence - something I also look at a lot in my breathwork studies).

As a neuroscientist Dr. Dave Rabin puts it, sound can “change the rhythms of our physiology…often in less than a minute”. It’s why we have such a reaction when a song we like comes on, it impacts us almost instantly (thank you oxytocin!).

So when your mind goes quiet…
It’s not you “finally switching off”, it’s your body being given the right conditions to do what it’s designed

Less screen-time, more green time 🌿

If your idea of a Bank Holiday is “we should probably get out the house…” but also “please let it be low effort” - this is for you 😅

Our Family Bluebell Social is a relaxed 3 mile walk where:
• the kids can run, explore and burn some energy
• you can actually talk to other parents (without being interrupted every 3 seconds… in theory 😂)
• and you get to enjoy the bluebells + views of Sissinghurst Castle without it turning into a full-on expedition 🌸🏰

No pressure, no forced vibes… just a group of families walking, chatting and keeping half an eye on where the kids have wandered off to.

I’ll bring scavenger hunt cards to keep them entertained (or at least buy you 10 minutes of peace 🐞)

We’ll finish with the option of a pub lunch, because let’s be honest… that’s half the motivation 🍽️

100 problems… to 0 🤍

A year ago, Be Wild & Well was just an idea I was quietly holding onto and nervous to share.
Now it’s a growing community of the most incredible humans, showing up for themselves, for each other, and for something softer.

This past year has been… a lot.
Growth, change, learning, pushing myself way out of my comfort zone.
Moments where I doubted everything (thanks imposter syndrome 🫠) … and moments where I felt completely aligned.

And through it all, this space has grown.

Every person who’s come to a sound bath, a walk, a retreat…
every message, share, kind word, booking…
it genuinely means more than you probably realise.

Thank you for being part of this 🫶🏼

Because the truth is…
we all arrive with “100 problems”.

Overthinking.
Stress.
Burnout.
Carrying everything for everyone else.

And these events with community and with sound healing gives you a moment where you don’t have to hold it all.

The frequencies work with your body, not against it.
Slowing brainwaves, calming the nervous system, creating a felt sense of safety.

They gently stimulate the vagus nerve (especially through the ears), supporting your body to shift into rest + digest…
the state where healing actually happens.

It’s not that your problems disappear…

But for a moment, your body remembers what it feels like to be at 0.
Calm.
Safe.
Held.

And sometimes that’s all you need to begin again.
