With the ever increasing rise in costs here there and everywhere, along with lots of consideration on my part. I have decided that as of 1st May all treatments will increase by £5.

What is smudging?
Smudging is traditionally a ceremony for purifying or cleansing the soul of negative thoughts of a person or place. It has been used for many, many years by indigenous people in Native America.

There are four elements involved,
The first element is the container, traditionally a shell, representing water.
The sacred plant being used, sage a gift from Mother Earth represents the second element
The fire used to ignite the sage represents the third and
The smoke produced from the fire represents air the fourth element.

During a smudge, the plant is ignited and the flames are gently blown out, the smoke which heals the heart, mind and body is wafted over the person or place by hand or traditionally a feather from the eagle.
It thought negativity is absorbed to the ashes and returned to Mother Earth.

You have more than likely experienced me smudging during your treatment here at gems.

My cleansing kits which also include palo Santo and a selenite crystal wand are perfect for practicing this healing ritual at home.

Annnd the craziness of juggling children and clients during summer holidays is fast approaching.
I always think, ok I can do this, I can find the balance. I’m hoping this year, I get it right 🙏🏻

I have my very wonderful sister who is going to look after my babies (well they’re not actually babies anymore) for two full days and I will work another evening to cover.

My plan is….
Monday 11am - 8pm
Tuesdays 5-9pm
Thursdays 11am-8pm

I know if you’re a usual Friday client we are going to struggle, BUT, we can hopefully get you into one of the Tuesday evenings or a slot on one of the other days too. I promise to do all I can to accommodate you as well enjoy the holidays with my children.

If we haven’t already booked you in for July and August appointments, please do message me asap to get these scheduled. If you have already and I haven’t confirmed them, please do give me a little nudge and I will reply over the course of this weekend.
