We had some super cute bunnies, some wonderfully caring pet owners 🥹 and our yoga babies are learning and perfecting new skills like rolling 🤩🙌🏻

Well George Pig is all signed up for next term 🎉🙌🏻🐷

Signing isn’t about fixing anything.

It’s about giving children a voice in whatever way works for them, and it supports children who are deaf, hearing, non verbal and everything in between ❤️

National Deaf Children's Society the charity for deaf children with any level of hearing loss, has partnered with Peppa Pig on a landmark new storyline that will see Peppa’s brother George revealed to be moderately deaf in one ear.

Today was so lovely, I'm so glad I got to deliver these funded classes as they are the most wonderful families 💖

It's all about pets in sign classes this week and we loved the bubbles in both classes 😍😍🫧🫧

⭐So what actually happens in a baby massage class? ⭐

We build gently week by week to help babies get used to being massaged and build up tolerance.

Each session introduces a new area of the body and then a recap through the areas already completed, allowing babies (and parents) time to get familiar and comfortable (and catch up from the inevitable week that baby just wanted to feed or sleep through 😅💖)

We then finish with:
✨ gentle sensory play
✨ cuddles or
✨ a feed 😅

Babies can dip in and out as they need.

There are no expectations - we're a baby led class and following your baby’s cues always comes first 💜

We're feeling the love in our baby development classes this week as we strengthen bonding and attachment while adding a splash of colour 💖💖

Our massage babies did a super job too and are really building up their tolerance. We massaged faces and backs this week 🥰

Crying isn’t failure. It’s communication ❤️

Babies cry to tell us they need something, be it comfort, closeness, reassurance, food or sleep

Responding to that cry isn’t 'spoiling' them - it’s building trust.

If your baby cries, you haven’t done anything wrong.

Just trust your instincts and respond with love 💜

⭐New Blog Post ⭐

Sometimes the hardest shift in parenting is letting go of who we think our children should be, and noticing who they are right now 💜

A toddler wandering in a café isn’t being naughty.
A child melting down isn’t choosing chaos.
A baby who won’t settle isn’t giving you a hard time - they’re having a hard time.

Development isn’t linear, and behaviour is communication.
When emotions run high, little brains aren’t able to listen, learn or reason yet. The teaching moment comes later, once they feel safe and regulated.

Meeting children where they are means adjusting our expectations to their age, stage and nervous system… not asking them to cope like mini adults.

Connection first. Understanding always 💜

Today was so much fun 🥰🥰 we finished off the week strong with more little helpers in family sign 😍

And we had some gorgeous Daddy's girls in Daddy & Me who loved having some snuggles whilst playing with the bubbles to help with their visual development 💖🫧
