I've just got back from the most incredible business retreat in the Highlands, Scotland...and just wow.
Two 7 hour drives through some of the most insane scenery I've ever seen (snowy mountains, still blue Lochs and lots of beautiful woodland). I very nearly stopped multiple times to get out and take it all in, and I drove with a big smile on my face and a calm mind. It was the perfect way to step out of my day to day life.
The retreat was everything I didn't realise I needed ❤️
Two jam packed days of reflecting, planning, dreaming and actually giving my business the time and space it deserves. Not squeezed in between school runs or late night admin, but proper focused time to think clearly.
And we weren't all work and no play...an adventurous walk and a windy boat trip on Loch Ness were so much fun, plus a meal out, a home cooked curry and late night chats.
But the real magic?
The women.
Being surrounded by such incredible businesswomen, all at completely stages of their journey, all cheering each other on, sharing ideas, being honest about their struggles and celebrating the wins. And the kind of conversations that stay with you long after you've left (if you know you know 😂)
There were so many belly laughs, so much delicious food and so much support. I've come home reluctant but excited to see my family again ❤️, and also feeling inspired and clear on what's next.
Sometimes you don't realise how much you need to step away until you do.
My heart is full (and so is my brain!) and I'm so glad I got the chance to go ⭐💜
