Today I brought in some apple turnovers for my lady, for a companionship call like I sometimes do.

Last week I was planting her plants as she missed the gardener & she was a little upset. I didn’t have anything on after and there was only a couple to do. So why not?! Why not go the little extra to make someone’s day even brighter 🌷 ☕ 🍰

Companionship is about so much more than care, it’s about comfort, friendship and that is why I absolutely love being a private carer because I can do all of that❤️❤️

Inspiring Wednesdays 🧚🏻❤️

A gentleman I look after mentioned that he used to really enjoy drawing, so of course we added it straight to the top of the shopping list 🖍️

Today we picked up some paper and drawing pencils, and we’re both looking forward to seeing what beautiful creations he comes up with ✨

A lovely Friday morning spent supporting with a shower, getting the bungalow all cleaned, and having all the laundry washed and drying ☀️

We then enjoyed some time together choosing and buying some beautiful new plants for his lovely garden 🌿💐

I was just outside looking at my plants and started tearing up 🥹

My beautiful lily flower and agapanthus are starting to bloom again.

My agapanthus was gifted to me by a lovely gentleman I cleaned for, until he became a sparkling angel in the sky. He bought the pot, planted it himself, and gave it to me for my 30th birthday 🩷

He also secretly bought me a lily plant because it was my favourite colour 🥹 he said it was a thank you for taking him out occasionally.

These really are the most beautiful gifts. His memory will stay with me even more now his stories, his company, his funny sense of humour. Just him being him.🧚🏻

The appreciation he showed me was so special, and it genuinely warms my heart I get to see them bloom again now and that I make that kind of difference and he felt cared for by me 🩷

Arriving to my lovely gentleman’s this morning. He says with the sweetest thoughtful face.
‘ I woke up, went to the other room, sat down fell asleep and woke up and you were just coming.. that was quite nice actually’ 🥰

A little memory that’s always stayed with me 💛

After finding a bee with a lady I support, we thought it wasn’t alive.

We gave it a little honey and water and slowly, it came back to life 🐝

We watched it fly away onto the flowers 🌸

She had always been frightened of bees, but seeing it up close — and seeing that it didn’t hurt me — completely changed how she felt 🌈

Sometimes it’s the smallest things that make the biggest difference & this was a really lovely support visit ❤️🧚🏻
