💔 Sadly, we’ve seen more and more impatient drivers trying to push into funeral cortèges — cutting between the hearse and the limousines carrying grieving family members, and even during our horse-drawn funerals.

It’s happening so often now that near-accidents have occurred, simply because someone wants to cut in or get past.

We understand that funeral vehicles travel more slowly, but this is a person’s final journey — and it’s done out of respect.

If waiting an extra 30 seconds or a minute makes you late, please take a moment to think about the person who has passed, and the loved ones following behind.

A final journey is so very precious 🤍

We’re proud to once again support the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal this year.
Poppies will be available to buy from the 23rd October onwards from both our Chadderton and Whitworth branches, with all proceeds going directly to support veterans and their families.
