🎉 Badge Club is now live on the HAF York website for Easter!

As soon as HAF vouchers go live, you’ll be able to book your child’s place with us for Easter. Badge Club is SEND-specific, supporting children with high sensory needs in a calm, structured environment.

We run a 1:2 staff-to-child ratio, and each session is limited to just 8 HAF place (10 in total) places to give every child the attention they need. 🌈

Badge Club provides small, inclusive activity clubs designed for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those with high sensory needs. We specialise in creating calm, structured environments with high staff ratios so children who may struggle in mainstream holi...

We’re back from today’s Badge Club x SENses session and it was such a lovely one.

It was really nice to welcome a few more families than last time and the hall had that easy, settled feel from the start.

The marble run was the clear favourite, closely followed by the train tracks and a surprisingly enthusiastic parachute moment.

It felt relaxed, friendly and genuinely welcoming. Exactly what we hope for.

Claire from Badge Club will be at SENses tomorrow morning (), so if you’d like to hear more about our Easter holiday clubs, do come and say hello.

💛

Belonging builds confidence.
Play builds resilience.
Being understood builds wellbeing.

That’s what we’re about at Badge Club.

And this Easter… we’re back 🌷🐣
Holiday Club details coming soon.

Badge Club check-in 👋

Life’s been a bit busy and a bit challenging recently, so before I charge ahead… I want to ask you.

We could run Badge Club on 19th & 20th February at the Whixley Village Hall.

The hall is on standby, the toys are booked from the toy library, and we’ve even had a very generous donation via The Giving Machine ❤️

A few practical bits:
Building works at the front door (still accessible, just not pretty)
No staff this time, but parents, carers and PAs are very welcome to attend and support
Free tea & coffee ☕
Easy parking 🚗
Level access and an accessible loo ♿

So the real question is…

Do you want it?

If there’s appetite, we’ll make it happen.

If not, we can pause and aim for Easter, when things (hopefully) feel a bit calmer and we may have Feast and HAF funding lined up for Knaresborough and York.

No wrong answers. Just trying to do the right thing at the right time 💛

Let me know: go ahead in Feb, or wait for Easter?
