Happy 2020! Can’t believe how quick all the festivities went in 😢 hope you all had a lovely Christmas 🎅🎄

Class starts again this week - Wednesdays, 5.30pm, in the PPP. If, like me, your holidays consisted of very little exercise then it can be a thought getting back into it but your body (and mind) will thank you for it 🥰

Ps Lidls have some decent exercise mats for less than £10 if you need a new one 👌🏻

So brave of Ferne to voice her worries. Our classes aim to tackle these issues and alleviate symptoms of prolapse. In order to attend we need to assess you on a 1:1 basis first. Please email Lynnetait1@gmail.com for more info.

Ladies ..... it’s never “ok” to leak, don’t put up with it! It may seem embarrassing to seek help but a pelvic health physio has seen it all before and we are here to help, for free! NHS has a self referral system for pelvic health assessments.

For all things pelvic health related it is worth checking out this page (PelvicRoar). This week the focus has been on DRA which is something we talk about in our classes. Have a good weekend folks x

We do not know (yet) what factors, if any, exist to prevent DRA.

Potentially considering the suggested risk factors e.g. constipation or poor lifting techniques may have some influence. However some women are likely to be genetically predisposed meaning that there is nothing they can do to prevent DRA & it ISN'T THEIR FAULT.

Self-management & behavioural factors have a role to play in recovery (Dufour et al. 2019)
