Grant
The family of the late Donald (Donnie) Grant would like to thank everyone for their sympathy and support, cards, messages and flowers following the sad loss of Donnie. Special thanks to all staff who cared for him in the Rosebank and Bignold Wings of Caithness General Hospital and latterly the Town and County Hospital. To Sanders Harper and his team at Sinclair Funeral Directors for their excellent care and professional service, they were second to none. To Sarah Wilkinson from the Humanist Society Scotland for her

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of William Sutherland Murray aged 85 who died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on 24th April 2026. William is survived by his wife Annabel, children, Heather, Shirley, Susan and Gordon and was a dear father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. A celebration of William’s life will take place in Sinclair’s Restrooms, Macarthur Street Wick on Friday 1st May commencing at 11.45am thereafter to Wick Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. A dearly loved son to Patricia (Patsy) and the late John (Jack) Campbell, brother to Fiona and Heather. Soulmate and cherished husband to the late Eileen. A devoted dad to Emma, Kerry, Darren and Kris. A grandad adored by Taylor, Rebecca, Molly, James, Jacob, Rory and Ryan. And a friend to many.
A celebration of Ian’s life will take place on the 23rd of April in Keiss Hall at 12pm thereafter to Keiss Cemetery then returning to the hall for refreshments. All friends are respectfully invited. Andrew Donaldson Oag, aka (Andy) aged 79 passed away peacefully at home on April 1st 2026. He was born December 19th 1946 in Thrumster, Wick. Son of the late Annabella & William Oag. Andrew is survived by his sons George & Andrew and also his daughters Elizabeth & Natalie. Daughter-in-law Katrina & son-in-laws Michael & Peter, 5 grandchildren, Lee, Carl, Rachel, Ross & Daniel and 4 great-grandchildren Olivia, Lochlan, Darragh & Damhan.
He also leaves many family members and friends who will sadly miss him. Funeral from Sinclair’s Restrooms, Macarthur Street Wick on Wednesday 22nd April commencing at 11am thereafter to Thrumster Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please.

"It was with sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Sinclair (nee Davidson) who died peacefully with her family present on March 17th, 2026 at Riverside Care Home in Wick. Betty, loving mother to the late Maureen and Andrew and surviving son David and grandmother of Sam, Paul and Karen. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the Riverside Care team for looking after mum during her stay with them and in particular during her last few days.
