It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Murrison, formerly of Latheronwheel. Joyce passed away peacefully, with family by her side, in Riverside Care Home on Monday, 2nd March 2026. Joyce was a much-loved sister, aunt and friend to many. Funeral service within Latheron Hall, on Wednesday 18th March, service commencing at 11am; thereafter to Latheron Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please, but donations, if desired, may be given in aid of Dementia UK and MS Society.

James Mackay
The family of the late James Mackay would like to express their sincere thanks to all family and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy extended to them following their recent loss. The many messages, cards and flowers were very much appreciated and brought great comfort. Special thank you to Heather Stewart for her service and Sanders and his team for their professional handling and funeral arrangements, also thanks to The Flower patch for the beautiful flowers. A grateful thanks to the staff at Caithness General Hospital. The family of the late James would like to share that a memorial bench will be placed in his honour. This bench is intended as a quiet place for reflection and remembrance, celebrating James’s life and many memories he leaves behind.
