The ladies had one request… a fabulous shopping trip! So off we went to Lakeside for a fun-filled day of retail therapy, laughter, and plenty of treats along the way 💕 From browsing their favourite shops to enjoying time together, it truly was a day to remember! 👗👠👜

🍕✨ A day full of creativity and delicious fun! ✨🎨

This morning, our residents got hands-on for a delightful cooking class, making their very own pizza bagels topped with ham, cheese, and mushrooms 🍕🧀🍄 — simple, tasty, and full of smiles!

In the afternoon, the creativity continued at our art club, where everyone enjoyed colouring and painting, bringing beautiful ideas to life 🎨🖌️💫

Our Super Saturday has been upgraded to SPECTACULAR, Super Saturday!! 🌟💙🌟💙

After morning exercises, we glided into Art and Craft Club and created some great work using everyday household items of Q-tips and squeegees. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 We try and be as resourceful as possible and keep our activities wide-ranging and full of interest for our residents. Mindfulness and relaxation are always high on the Agenda when doing Art and Craft and we achieved both with ease today. 🫟🎨🖌️

Our birthday girl Audrey won over our hearts with her beautiful, birthday smile and enjoyed the celebrations throughout the day held in her honour. A scrumptious cake came fresh from our kitchen and was enjoyed by all dear friends of the birthday girl. 🎈🎁🎂🥳🎁

Not resting on our laurels, we were eager and hopeful choosing our horse for this year’s Grand National, which is always a firm favourite of our residents.

Slightly nervous and with bated breath, we made our way to the Cinema Room and enjoyed the build up to the race, watching these majestic thoroughbreds being prepped by their riders. 🏇🐎🏇

There were cheers a-plenty from our residents as they kept fingers and toes crossed for their horse.
The worthy winner, our Peter, was thrilled he won and celebrated with chocolate and a nice cup of tea - just what you’d expect after such an exciting race.

Once tea is over this evening, some of our residents have requested to watch Andre Rieu in concert. 🎼🎶🎵🎻🪉

A wonderful day in the place we call HOME. We will dream big tonight 💙💙
