😔 to say, Wickham Wellness will be no more from December. After nearly 10 years, the lease is not being renewed. I have been fixing feet for 5 years in their treatment room and have built up a substantial number of patients🦶

I am now looking for a new space to hire (one day a week). This would suit an existing clinical set up. Please let me know if anyone can think of a suitable place. I have a list of nice to haves:
- ground floor
- natural light
- Couch & saddle stool
- hard flooring

NB: I don’t charge a fortune for treatments, so I’m afraid places like the GP surgery & community centre are not viable ☺️

Summer is a busy time for working on feet…

To help with the demand, I will be renting the Wickham Wellness treatment room for an additional afternoon this Wednesday 2nd July.

I’ve already booked some patients in. For anyone already booked further on in the month, you are welcome to contact me to bring your appointment forward OR for those who like to book as and when, my Thursdays are booked up until August. Appointments still available at Rookesbury Hall, Newtown on Tuesdays.

For anybody new, this is a foot health treatment. To include removing hard skin using a scalpel & reducing thick toe nails using a burr on a Chiropody drill & more besides.

Mrs L is a retired Chiropodist (worked for the NHS) and has been visiting me since last summer.

After a few treatments she stated "my feet are so much better since I've been coming to you, I should have visited you long ago".

Some Monday evenings & every Thursday day time I work from Wickham Wellness in the Square.
On Fridays I'm working at Rookesbury Hall, Newtown, Soberton.

I burred the thickened tip; cut the corner away to create a gap from the unhealthy skin; curved the edge of the nail so it was no longer piercing the skin.

Ms P came for a follow-up treatment last month and we were both really pleased with the result. The patient is no longer going to have a NHS procedure.

Mrs P fell on a step back in April 23 which damaged her toe. After being put on the NHS waiting list to have nail surgery, she decided to visit me for a 2nd opinion in August of this year and agreed to me treating her toe.

The tip of the nail had thickened and the corner was digging into unhealthy skin. I advised Ms P she might still need to go the surgery route if a foreign object remained in her skin.
