Most core training compresses the spine while it works the abs.

AntiGravity does the opposite.

Suspended horizontally in the hammock, the deep abdominal wall fires fully while gravitational load is removed from the vertebrae entirely. The hip flexors engage through a complete range of motion. The spine decompresses while the core builds strength.

Same muscles. Zero compression. Completely different outcome.

Strength work builds force. Yoga builds flexibility. Both are valuable.

Neither one addresses the dimension of movement the body needs most: three-dimensional spatial navigation, gravitational variety, and the kind of nervous system regulation that only comes from moving in ways the brain hasn't mapped before.

Ten hours a day in spinal compression. That is the average adult's reality before they've even thought about exercise.

The problem is not that people are sedentary. The problem is that most movement adds load to a system that is already overloaded. You cannot build on compression. You have to create space first.

That principle is the foundation of everything I've built over thirty-five years. Saving this image might be the most useful thing you do today.

We are not watching the universe expand. We are the expansion. Made from the same matter forged inside dying stars.

Expressing that same outward impulse through every breath, every movement, every moment we choose not to compress ourselves into smallness.

That idea became a piece I've been sitting with for a while. It starts with cosmology and ends in the hammock. Which is, honestly, where most of my best thinking lands.
