We’ve recently completed the demolition of unused garages in the Kingsway area—an important step in improving the look and feel of the neighbourhood. 👍

The work has helped open up the space, tackle issues like fly tipping and anti-social behaviour, and create a more welcoming environment for residents.

It’s all part of our wider Destination Kingsway programme, focused on making lasting improvements where we know they matter most. 😀

The demolition of unsafe garages in Kingsway, funded in response to resident feedback, has created a cleaner, safer and more open shared space while supporting future community‑led improvements and Halton Housing’s commitment to building thriving communities.
