💉 FLU & COVID VACCINATIONS 2025 💉

Missed your FLU or COVID vaccination appointment due to the bad weather! Don’t worry Widnes Late Night Pharmacy have got you covered.
We have walk in clinics this Monday & Tuesday
Monday - 9am - 6.30pm
Tuesday - 9.30am - 5pm

Eligibility for covid vaccinations has changed this year (as directed by NHSE). Eligibility for covid is as follows:
-Over the age of 75
-Living in an elderly patient care home
-Severely immunocompromised

📢 Seasonal COVID-19 vaccine and Flu service for Autumn/Winter 2025.

Our clinic is all set up for next Wednesday 1st October.

Our purpose-built vaccination centre will be open again this October to deliver the seasonal vaccines for autumn/winter.

Bookings for the seasonal COVID-19 vaccine and Flu vaccine are now available on the National Booking System.

Please note that the Pharmacy and Vaccination Centre will close between 1-2pm for a staff lunch hour.

Who can get a seasonal Flu vaccine?

You may be eligible if you are:
• aged 65 years and over (by 31 March 2026)
• aged 6 months to 64 years and at increased risk due to a health condition or medical treatment
- Chronic respiratory disease.
- Chronic heart disease and vascular disease.
- Chronic kidney disease.
- Chronic liver disease.
- Chronic neurological disease.
- Diabetes mellitus and other endocrine disorders.
- Immunosuppression.
- Asplenia or dysfunction of the spleen.
- Morbid obesity.
- Severe mental illness.
- Younger adults in long-stay nursing and residential care settings.
- Pregnancy.

For Covid, patients need to be 75yrs of age or older or be severely immunosuppressed.

Currently we can only vaccinate patients 18yrs and above for the Covid and Flu service.

Once again, the service will be delivered from our Cross Street entrance where there is plenty of free car parking spaces available in the Gym and SWIM car park.

You have the option of booking for either vaccine or both on the National Booking System.

If having trouble booking online please call the Pharmacy on 01514244353 and we will book you in. Please have your NHS number to hand.

When searching for our Pharmacy use the postcode WA8 6JT. For sat nav directions to the rear of the building use WA8 6HS.

We hope to have plenty of stock and staff available for walk in patients but we strongly advise booking to save on unnecessary queues.
