Who says fun and games are just for children 😊.
Today our lounge was filled with laughter, colour and a whole
Lot of bouncing as our residents enjoyed a lively session with a giant parachute .
There were plenty of smiles and a few competitive spirits .

These activities are not just fun they are fantastic for -
💪 Gentle exercise and coordination.
🧠Keeping the mind sharpe with focus and framework.
🗣️Encourages social connections and conversations.
😁Boosting mood and sparking joy.

Sign lanuage day 🤟✋

Our wonderful residents were treated to a truly emotional and uplifting performance filled with music, expression and the beautiful art of sign language.
It was a joyful reminder of how powerful communication can be in all its forms.

A big thank you to Warrington signing choir for bringing so many smile’s and creating such a special atmosphere.

Harvest has always been a time of giving thanks for what we have , and for sharing with those who may be struggling.
This year as part of our Harvest Festival we are collecting donations to support Widnes food bank , who do incredible work helping families right here in our community.

There are many people who are facing difficult times.
By donating even a few items you could help to bring comfort, dignity and hope to a neighbour in need .

Suggested donations include
*Tinned foods
* Pasta, rice, cereal
* Tea, coffee, sugar. Long life milk
*Biscuits, snacks , treats
* Toiletries

🚒 Visit from the fire crew🧑‍🚒

What a treat we had yesterday as we celebrated our wonderful emergency services the crew from penketh fire station popped in to spend some time with us for tea ☕️and cake 🍰.

Our residents had such a wonderful time chatting, sharing stories and of course plenty of laughter (and a second slice of cake).

A big thankyou to the crew for taking the time to visit .

🎤🎵Our residents were treated to a truly special afternoon when Jo Maddison came to share her beautiful voice with us , filling the room with music 🎶 , smiles 😊 and even a few happy tears 💕

From classic favourites to sing along tunes the performance brought back cherished memories and created new ones too .
Watching our residents tap their feet, clap along and lightly up with joy was a reminder of the power of music 🎵

Today at Halton view we had old faces young faces and even a few moustaches 🥸.
The laughter was louder than the bingo calls .
Turn’s out filters don’t just change your appearance they add a whole lot of giggles too.
