Founded as an independent company in 1995, Total Environmental Compliance are a leading UK based specialist in water hygiene and consultancy which provides services for industrial, commercial, leisure and healthcare sectors in legionella risk assessment, water hygiene including cleaning and disinfection, storage tank remedial works etc, analytical services (microbiological and chemical) from UKAS accredited laboratories, chemical treatment for industrial & domestic closed water systems as well as steam generating systems, open & closed cooling water and pool water systems. Our highly qualified in-house engineers and technicians are always available, giving TEC complete control of health and safety, work schedules and quality standards throughout every stage of each contract. The long-lasting relationships with our client base are the most important part of our business. Last week, Clive Sutton and Adam Lawton completed their Mental Health First Aid training at Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) Castleford HQ, led by Terry Wilcock and Paul Campbell.

From anxiety and trauma to recovery and support. It’s important to have these conversations and be able to know how to give the right help when it’s needed.

This year marks a very significant milestone for TEC as we celebrate 30 years at the forefront of water safety and Legionella control.

From the beginning in 1995, with just a handful of staff, we have grown into one of the UK's leading environmental consultancies now with 130 employees, consistently pioneering innovative approaches to water safety management.

In recent years, we have grown significantly in headcount, geographical coverage, service offering, technological innovation and expanded our client portfolio.

We are currently seeking a hard-working and knowledgeable Legionella Risk Assessor in the Working, Surrey area.

The successful applicant will come from a strong water treatment background and will be experienced in carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines.

Many of our clients have their own internal process regarding auditing. This can involve unannounced site visits where we are working.

We wanted to share some excellent feedback we received last week on an audit carried out by Cyngor Sir Ddinbych _ Denbighshire County Council

"I carried out a spot check today on your Water Hygiene Technician, Rob Thompson.

To say I was impressed, is an understatement. When asked he explained in detail to me how your simPRO system works on his tablet and it looks very user friendly.

My main reason for emailing was to commend Rob for his rapport with the school staff on site; they were very pleased to see him, one school had had a kitchen refurbishment and the cook insisted he was shown around it.

Both schools were closing for the summer break today and having pre-holiday fun days, but both Head Teachers took the time and effort to speak to him and offered their thanks and said they looked forward to seeing him in September."

Following a Legionella Risk Assessment and remedials, TEC are pleased to be working with Murray Hall Community Trust to deliver a range of water hygiene services.

Set up in 1994 with little funding, the Murray Hall Community Trust has grown and now provides a range of services for children, families, young people and end of life care to communities across Sandwell and the Black Country.
