Another dealer-level fix completed – this time on a Peugeot e-208 with Android Auto not working.

The customer contacted us after repeatedly seeing a security handshake error on their phone every time it was connected to the vehicle. Initial checks showed all hardware and settings were correct, however further investigation revealed newer NAC infotainment firmware was available.
Using our official dealer/manufacturer portal access, we downloaded and installed the latest NAC update. βœ…

This not only restored full Android Auto functionality, but also brought a host of general improvements to the NAC system overall.

This SEAT Arona was suffering from an intermittent non-start, accompanied by a loss of communication with the PCM/ECM β€” the kind of fault that doesn’t always show itself when you want it to.

After structured fault-finding and live data analysis, we traced the root cause to a failing relay intermittently suppressing power to the PCM, explaining both the no-start condition and the communication drop-outs.

During our initial system scan, we also uncovered incorrect coding present within the ABS controller (Address 03). Rather than leaving this as a potential future issue, we jumped onto the Volkswagen Group factory dealer platform – ODIS and carried out:

βœ… Online coding & parameterisation of the ABS module (Address 03)
βœ… Full vehicle-specific configuration via factory servers
βœ… Calibration/software update to the Engine Control Module (Address 01) after identifying newer software available
