Due to a recent increase in missed appointments, we are now monitoring patients who do not attend their scheduled appointments more closely.

Repeated non-attendance without prior notice affects access to care for other patients and places additional pressure on our services.

Patients who continue to miss appointments without reasonable explanation may be contacted for review and could risk being removed from the practice list.

Thank you for your understanding.

As a GP practice, we want to let our patients know that appointments may be limited during this period of doctors strike.

Our team is working hard to continue providing care and support to everyone who needs it. We understand this may be frustrating, but please be assured we are doing our very best under challenging circumstances.

There is **zero tolerance for abuse** towards our staff — we’re here to help and appreciate your patience and understanding.

Thank you for bearing with us over the coming week.

Calling all local residents! We’re looking for a volunteer to help open and run the Clifton Street Bike Library, an already established community resource.

The long-term goal has always been for this to become a community-led Bike Library, helping local people access bikes and stay active. There will always be support from Be Well and the Communities Team to ensure the library continues to grow and be successful.

If you’re interested in volunteering or would like to find out more, please get in touch with Richard on Richard.Smith1@wigan.gov.uk
