🎨 Enchanted Door Decorating
🗓️ 13th August The Old Pear Tree Inn Official
⏰ 2pm - 4pm
🎟️ £3 donation per ticket.

Family fun at The Old Pear Tree Inn (across from The Deanery) where you and your child(ren) can paint and decorate your very own enchanted doors.

It’s a 2 hour slot so there will be plenty of time to create something spectacular. There are lots of ideas on Pinterest for inspiration!
The Old Pear Tree serves food as well as drinks so let’s make a day of it and relax while the kids get busy ❤️

We ask if possible for only two tickets per booking, obviously if you have more than 2 children then you can book more - we only say this so that everyone gets a chance to book if they wish to attend, so please be mindful 🙂

🎨 Chalk Pastel Impressionist style Poppies
🗓️ Tuesday 12th August at The Gates Wigan
⏰ 1pm - 3pm
🎟️ £3 donation upon booking (max 2 per person)

Chalk Pastels are extremely user friendly - they’re a great introduction to the techniques used across all mediums. Blending, layering and mark making to create something unique.
We will be painting impressionist style poppies on paper.

You’re free to come and do your own thing or use the reference provided - we just want you to come and play, experience everything that creativity provides for our soul and mind ❤️

Come alone or with others - you will be welcomed with warmth and enthusiasm.

Guidance and advice will be given upon request, all we ask is that you enjoy yourself through play, seeing colours, texture and images emerge from your own hands.

Last week’s Poetry & Pastels session was all about growth and from everything I’ve seen and heard, it truly bloomed into something beautiful 🌸

Led so thoughtfully by the amazing Lisa, with poetry brought to life by John , some stunning art work was created. Im so proud of what this session offered everyone who came along.

Even though I wasn’t there myself, it means the world to know that Let's SHAPE is holding space for people to relax, de-stress, and connect creatively.

🌿🎨 We’re so excited to be part of Playday at Mesnes Park! 🎉

Join us under the bandstand in Mesnes Park on Wednesday 6th August from 12–3pm where we’ll be bringing along lots of creative crafts for the little ones to enjoy ✂️🖌️

It’s all part of a FREE fun filled afternoon celebrating every child’s right to play. There will be making, exploring, laughing and discovering in nature! 🌼🐝

We're coming to the end of our National Lottery funding for our Community Crafts for Wellbeing project. It’s been such an emotional journey, one that’s brought so many of you into our sessions, and honestly… it’s been incredible.

Some of you came just once, others have become regular faces, and many of you had never picked up a paintbrush or done anything creative in years. And yet you gave it a go. You shared stories, created beautiful things, and even more importantly ... you took time for yourself!! 💕

We’ve seen people smile again, connect with others, and find a bit of calm during really tough times. And that’s what it’s always been about. Not perfect art. Just real people, coming together, creating, and feeling a little lighter for it.

We’d love to apply for another big pot of funding to carry this on… but we can’t do that without you.

If you’ve ever been to a session, could you help us by answering a few questions? Just a few honest thoughts about how it felt for you, and whether it helped in any way... especially around your mental health or day-to-day life.

Yesterday was my final mindful art session at Craftopia CIC for this block... and what a beautiful way to end it 💛

These sessions have meant so much to me. Each week, we’ve explored feelings through colour, creativity, and connection and I loved holding space for that.

A huge thank you to Craftopia for commissioning me to deliver these. It’s been amazing to be part of something so meaningful.
