So this will be the last Cherry Gardens quiz of 2025 and you’re very welcome to join us.

🗓 Wednesday 17th December
⏰ 7:30pm – 10pm
📍 The Cherry Gardens, Wigan
💷 £2 per person (towards team entry)

A few of you have said you’d love more low-pressure ways to meet people and feel part of the LSoC community, without committing to a full workshop or anything intense.
This is exactly that. Just a relaxed night out, a bit of guessing, and good company.

Nothing performy. No expectations. No pressure to be “good” at anything....just a good time!

Stranger Things – Paint & Chill Night

📍 Lady Mabel's at The Cherry Gardens
⏰ 6pm – 8pm

If only we could make a deal with God and run up that hill… but since we can’t, we’re diving into the world of Hawkins for a Stranger Things–themed paint night instead.

This is a relaxed, creative session where you can paint in your own style.
You’ll have guidance if you want it, plus optional templates for anyone who prefers a little structure. No pressure, no perfection!

What to expect:
🎨 Stranger Things–inspired canvas painting
🖤 Guidance available, but totally optional
📄 Templates for those who’d like them
👥 A chilled night out, whether you come alone or with friends

Perfect for adults and older teens looking for something a bit different.

Quiz night at Cherry Gardens this evening was such a good fun 🧠✨😆

We placed 9th overall ( mid-table...not so bad) and had that much fun that we’re already planning to go back next week!
Plus… John Norcott has promised a song or two afterwards next week! It’s also the last quiz at Cherry Gardens until 2026.

🎄 Today was my last after-school session with KS1 this term and we made “Santa Please Stop Here” signs… and they absolutely smashed it ✨

I’ve loved seeing just how excited they’ve all been about Christmas these last few weeks... it’s been genuinely magical to be part of.

Massive thank you to St Wilfrid’s for having me back again. I can’t wait to return in January for both KS1 & KS2 craft clubs 💛
