We are a user led organisation, over 75% of our management committee is made up of people and families of people with disabilities.

We offer support, advocacy, advice and information (among others) to make sure people live a life as inclusive and meaningful as possible. We believe everyone has a right to live the life they choose and not to become isolated just because they are different.

🌟 Fantastic news from our Kinship Carers Circle! 🌟
One of the groups we’re proud to support at Mornington Road Family Hub — the Kinship Carers Circle, established by Andy and June — has been recognised for the incredible difference they make to local families.
This group offers a vital space for kinship carers to connect, share experiences, and support one another — and it’s clear just how valued that support is.
We were absolutely delighted to hear they had been nominated for an award… but even more thrilled to learn they won! 🎉
👏 The group has received the ‘United Together for Children’ Award from Wigan Council — a well-deserved recognition of their dedication, compassion, and community spirit.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved — Andy, June, Paula (pictured) and all the carers who make this group so special. 💙
