This week I’ve spent recharging and relaxing in the hills of beautiful Hawkshead in the Lake District
After attending a life affirming soul retreat last year with Suzy-Ann and Natalie from Sunny Brow Farm Retreats I couldn’t wait to go back for more😊
From yoga and meditation to rituals and ceremony we were held in sacred space to heal and grow.
Indulging in not one but two massages I felt truly blessed as my body fully appreciated the kindness and gentle persuasion it was offered.
My Soul Reading was a full on awakening with lots of clarification and a very unexpected realisation that explains a lot about the way I perceive many of my life experiences and interactions. Some reflection is definitely required to integrate all this beautiful knowledge😌
Beautiful vegan food, the company of some amazing Goddesses including the lovely Julie Green Was Grindley and of course the obligatory trip to Sacred Essence and the crystal shop in Ambleside🐲💀topped off the week 🥰

Feeling totally blessed and back to a not so sunny Wigan to put on a clothes wash and get ready for work tomorrow. 😊xx

Indian Head Massage Course

A professional 1 day training course in Indian head massage accredited and validated by ABT

Indian head massage is a relaxing holistic therapy which helps alleviate symptoms and conditions relating to the shoulders, neck and head as well as aiding relaxation and improving general well being. Indian head massage is carried out with the recipient sitting in a chair so is ideal for those who find it difficult getting on a treatment couch or find it uncomfortable lying on their front.

This is a comprehensive course suitable for complete beginners who would like to treat family and friends or for professional therapists who would like to add Indian Head Massage to their treatment list.

Course contents includes:
Introduction
History of Indian head massage
Benefits of Indian head massage
The holistic approach
Contra indications and precautions
Massage techniques
Practical experience

There is no exam or case studies to complete the course. Students are observed throughout the practical session. If you feel you would like more supervised practical experience after the course this can be arranged. Certificates are awarded at the end of the course.

Students are provided with a comprehensive manual to take home. Students should wear loose fitting clothing and have short finger nails for the massage.
Students should bring a light lunch. Tea, coffee and water is provided throughout the day
Maximum of 4 students per class to ensure individual attention

Exchange: £100 (a non refundable deposit of £30 is required to book a place)

We have a very special event coming up on Sunday 1st March as we host a community charity event in aid of Daffodils Dreams a local charity who offers support and resources for families in the Wigan area.

Join us to experience the healing energy of Reiki for your mind, body and soul as local reiki practitioners offer 20-30 minutes reiki sessions in exchange for a donation, with all of the money raised going to Daffodil Dreams.

What is Reiki:
An energy based healing therapy which works on realigning and balancing life force energy (chi) which flows through and around our physical body. As a holistic therapy, Reiki works on our physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
Reiki is received by the recipient fully clothed either lying on a therapy bed or seated in a chair.

Appointments will be available to book in advance from Monday 16th February and walk ins on the day will also be welcome (there may be a wait)

We will also have a tombola with lots of prizes to be won to raise as much money as we can for this very worthy cause.

Crystal Healing Practitioner Course

A professional 1 day course in crystal healing accredited and validated by Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT)

This is a comprehensive course including
* Introduction to crystal healing * How crystals promote healing *Aura and Chakras * Grounding
* Crystal toolkit * Consultation and The Holistic Approach * Crystal Healing Procedure and Crystal Layouts * Crystal Directory containing information on 60 crystals * Crystals for Physical Conditions, Mental and Emotional issues * Crystals for Spirituality * The official Bits- guidance for professional conduct

To complete this course you are required to submit 4 case studies, once approved you will be awarded your certificate and have valid insurance you may wish to start your own holistic practise or add crystal healing to your current therapy list.

Requirements: You must have a basic understanding of crystals or have completed my Crystals and Crystal Healing Workshop for Beginners prior to your course. A Crystal Pendulum and Master Healer Crystal are required during your practical sessions, if you don’t already have your own there will be a selection to purchase on the day starting from £5.
8 quartz points for the crystal layouts are included in your course and there will also be a selection of crystal tumble stones to purchase if required.

Students are provided with a comprehensive manual to take home.

Throughly enjoyed hosting my first Crystal reflexology course today.❤️

I love this therapy as it combines the benefits of reflexology with the healing energy of crystals so to have the privilege of passing it on to 2 other wonderful therapists just fills me with joy.

So a big thank you to Julie Green Was Grindley and Gill you were both perfect as you embraced the concept of using crystals on the feet as well as on and around the physical body.

You made my job so easy picking up the information and routine so quickly as you completing treatments on each other.

Crystal Reflexology combines the benefits of reflexology with the healing energy of crystals.
Using your own reflexology procedure, crystal placements and crystal tools are used to alter the energy flow through the sensitive reflex points to stimulate or soothe, clear stagnant or blocked energy and balance and align the Mind Body and Soul.

Crystals and a range of crystal tools will be available to use on the day. If you wish to bring your own you will need a chakra crystal set and a crystal wand.

Endings and New Beginnings

As we say goodbye to this year we send gratitude for the lessons we’ve learnt along the way and to the people we’ve met as we reflect on our highs and lows.

We can now look forward to a fresh start, to putting the past behind us and stepping up to a new year ahead of us. You may have already set New Year’s resolutions to be healthy, more spiritually aware or to follow your dreams ☺️

2026 is going to be a year of abundance! So consider your options and choices as whatever you send out will return ten fold. If you’re focusing on what’s going wrong in your life, feel stuck in a rut or lacking empathy and compassion towards others then you’ll find you receive negativity, lack and disharmony back
Alternatively if you reflect appreciation, warmth and kindness you’ll find yourself surrounded by love, support and grace.

So as we say goodbye to 2025, universal number 9- endings and completion we count our blessings as we transition into 2026, universal number 1 with new opportunities, unity and oneness

I’m so grateful for this time to take stock on what I’ve achieved so far and focus on where I’m going next. Even though 2025 hasn’t all been plain sailing and sometimes it’s been a little rough, I’ve learning that the unexpected is usually a lesson of perspective. It’s my choice how I perceive a situation and since I’ve started to accept everything is Divine Timing (and not when I want it! ) I now Trust the Process and know everything always works out for the best.

Beautiful times are ahead, you’ve just got to open your heart and mind, take a deep breath and jump in with both feet🥰 Wishing you all the best for 2026 xx

Holistic Therapy Courses and Workshops 2026

I’ve been hosting holistic therapy training courses and workshops since 2014 and with over 30 years experience as a therapist I love to share my experience and knowledge with others.
As I work full time as a therapist I’ve been a bit restricted on how much training I can offer but moving forward into 2026 I’ll be making more time available to host my current courses and workshops and introduce some new ones too.
