A lovely couple of hours today playing on the wheel in my new Winter ‘studio under the stairs’ 😊 My shed studio is literally freezing so cleared out the desk that used to live here and moved my wheel in. Not made anything on the wheel for a while so thought I’d check I could still do it and play with closed forms. Most ended up in the slop bucket for recycling as it was more about the process today. Nice to have my fur babies being with me in this precious and rare ‘me’ time

No official Top 9 for 2025 but these were my two most popular posts. Obviously this year was heartbreaking for me to lose my beautiful 16 year old Gia 💔 my shadow, my source of unconditional love and my nervous system regulator 🥺I’m still grieving her massively and cry probably more than I should still but it was the end of a partnership I’ll treasure forever 🐾 My second image was my next most popular. New work and possibly a new direction for VJC. Thanks for embracing the new fox and obviously the ever faithful hare during 2025. My making time for VJC is limited as I work full time as well as being a single parent, but I’m determined to fight the imposter syndrome, self doubt and procrastination to keep making and developing. My word for 2026 is ‘Nourish’ in every possible way. Thank you again for your continued support, likes, purchases and a big shout out to all those who bought charity hearts this year and contributed to raising £300 for victims of conflict ❤️ Happy New Year, here’s hoping for a peaceful and positive 2026 🕊️💫

This is me & furry apprentice Ava signing off for 2025! My Etsy shop is almost empty and I’m finished at my full time job! My feet are sore, my back is hurting and I’m pretty exhausted but my heart is full and I’m looking forward to some relaxing and downtime. I want to thank all my followers, supporters and customers for all your likes, comments and purchases this year. Every single one is much appreciated and I’m grateful I get to do what I do. I’m wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a peaceful New Year. Look after each other and remember to be present in all you do ❤️🎄🎅🏻🌟 I’m taking the opportunity to stay away from social media so I’ll be back in 2026 for more clay and life stuff! X ✨️❣️🎄

Well it’s only taken me two years, but I’ve finally released a new design to accompany the hare….introducing fox. It remains to see if he’ll be as popular but I’ve loved finalising the shape and making the first batch. These two will be in my shop today…link in bio.

I’m back on it. Full hare production today. This batch is for my gorgeous Scottish stockists but I’ll be making more for my shop which you can buy straight away, no need to preorder. I’ll share in my Stories when they’re ready. If any more of my stockists need stock…shout now 😍
