We often hear the phrase ‘new year new you’ but realistically just because we have entered a new year doesn’t magically make everything different!
But if we want change in our lives the best way to start is by setting an intention for the year or you could minimise that to the day, week, season etc.

I often get asked if I make resolutions and the answer is I set intentions which I normally come up through deep reflection from the year gone by.

This year my 3 words are -

🎨 Create
💜 Love

Happy New Year to you all!

I hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year.

Today is my first day back at work and I’m looking forward to starting another year of sharing healing and space for you all.

The Winter Warmer was very popular last month so I will continue running this month too!

It is my last day working today and I’ve had people asking me my Christmas plans which luckily I will be spending Christmas Day with my family 🤗

But after that I have purposely kept my diary as empty as possible as I want to have a real break.

I love my life, I love my work, my fitness regime, my family and friends but I am ready for a real break which will enable me to wake up each day, feel into my mind, body and heart and ask ‘How would I like to nourish myself today?’

Yes I may have less ties than those with children etc but I would love for you all to make some time for yourself this holiday to tune into yourself, stop living to a schedule and even maybe do something out of the blue that you have wanted to do for a while and not had the time to do so.

Winter is the season that guides us to rest, slow down and even hibernate but with Christmas on its way it is often a busy and stressful time for many.

Here are a few ideas to bring some mindful pauses into your festive season…

🎄 Sit and look at your Christmas tree, taking in the twinkles of the lights, the shapes of your decorations, the colours and the textures. If you have a real Christmas tree take a deep inhale and smell the fragrance of the earthy scent.

🕯️ Light a candle to bring in light and just sit, pause and let your mind flow becoming aware of the thoughts and feelings you are experiencing. Then take 3 nice deep breaths and sit for a few moments watching the flame.

🌅 Watch the morning sunrise, get outside and connect with all your senses. Taking in the beauty of our beautiful planet in the quiet moments of the day beginning.

We were blessed with a beautiful morning to mindfully pause in nature and the present moment today.

How blessed we were to be alive and present in the moment. To feel the sunshine touch our face, to hear the waterfall flowing, the birds singing and we saw squirrels jumping along trees so elegantly and watched a heron stand still watching at the side of the lake.

Next week is the last mindful walk of 2025 and they are free and everyone is welcome.

Happy December! Sorry I’m a few days late to the party but I’ve been busy with clients in person and I sometimes forget to post on here!

Limited spaces available before Xmas now but please do message and we can try and a lot you in.

The stones are heating nicely ready for my first client of the day rest for their blissful relaxing session.
