The askmygp system as technical problems this morning affecting all practices, We are hoping this will be resolved promptly. If you need to make a request then please contact our Main reception on 01942 368398 and press option 1. Please be patient as our phone will be busier than usual, We apologise for any inconvenience this as caused but this is beyond our control.

IntraHealth community clinics, which will be running over half term and beyond. These clinics are for school aged children (Reception – Year 11) who have missed flu vaccination at school.

If your child is in an at risk group, they can also have the vaccination at the practice.

Looking to quit smoking?

Last week we had local stop smoking advisors in our patient waiting room ready to provide free advice, resources and tips to help you quit smoking for good.

Don’t worry if you did not get chance to speak to them at the practice, they can still offer you support.

The team run a face to face 1-2-1 clinic at the medical practice every Friday between 2:30 - 4:30pm.

Get ready for our walk-in flu clinics starting from 1st October to 10th October! 💉(excluding Weekends)

Clinic Hours:
Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Monday to Friday: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

No appointment is needed for eligible patients - just turn up during these times and get your flu vaccine. Stay protected this season!

The Wigan Council Be Well Stop Smoking service are here to help! Whether you’re quitting for yourself, your loved ones, or your future, they are there to support you every step of the way. Their friendly advisors will provide free advice, resources and tips to help you quit for good.

They will be at the medical practice this coming tomorrow (Thursday 9th October) between 9:30 - 11:30am, where you can come along for a chat, a carbon monoxide reading, and to ask any questions you may have about their service. They also run a face to face 1-2-1 clinic at the medical practice every Friday between 2:30 - 4:30pm.

Here’s a breakdown of DNAs across our services:
🔹 Nurse – 62 missed appointments
🔹 Phlebotomist – 66 missed appointments
🔹 Healthcare Assistant – 10 missed appointments
🔹 GP – 31 missed appointments
🔹 Physio – 13 missed appointments
🔹 Advanced Nurse Practitioner – 1 missed appointment
📉 Total: 183 missed appointments compared to 135 in August
Please inform us if you can’t attend. Your support helps us offer appointments to those who need them.
