Reflexology…the treatment you didn’t know you needed ✨

In a world that rarely slows down, reflexology invites you to do exactly that. It’s more than just a foot treatment - it’s a deeply restorative experience designed to rebalance the body, calm the mind and leave you feeling completely reset 🧘🧘🧘

So, what actually is reflexology? It’s a holistic therapy based on the principle that specific points on the feet correspond to different organs and systems within the body.

Through targeted pressure and massage techniques, these points are stimulated to encourage the body’s natural healing process, improve circulation, reduce stress and restore overall balance.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but I found the whole experience incredibly relaxing and soothing yet surprising effective. As the different pressure points were worked on, I could feels areas of tension releasing in a way I’d never experienced before, it wasn’t just relaxing it felt purposeful 🤍🤍🤍

By the end I felt lighter, clearer and completely reset and rebalanced, so…if you’re feeling run down, stressed (like me) or just in need of a proper reset…reflexology might be exactly what your body’s been asking for 🤍🤍🤍

Let’s talk… Polynucleotide treatments ✔️

They are the latest anti-ageing must-have in the skin and aesthetic industry but what exactly is a polynucleotide treatment…

So what is a polynucleotide?

Think of a toy train which has lots of carriages connected together. A polynucleotide is a chain of nucleotides which is held together with bonds. A single polynucleotide has 14 of these in a chain. Our human DNA is an example of a polynucleotide.

For aesthetic treatments – manufacturers use Salmon cells (yes the fish) to formulate the polynucleotides which we inject into the skin. The DNA is taken from the s***m of Salmon and is purified.

This mimics the DNA found in humans. And what’s so good is that they stimulate our own cells to produce something that we’re losing because of ageing.

These polynucleotides have a bio-stimulating effect which means they make your skin produce more collagen and elastin. This is like turning back time ⏰ and makes your skin firmer and younger. On top of this they also increase hydration and are anti-oxidant.

What happens in a Polynucleotide treatment?

We use a series of small injections to administer them into the skin in specific areas, the under eye being a common placement which gives incredible results.

The injections are really superficial, very much like a skin booster - watch the video above.

You’ll have one treatment to start with, but Ideally for best results you should have 2-3 treatments spaced 2-4 weeks apart.

They can be used to improve the skin in many ways;
✔️ improving skin firmness
✔️ reducing fine lines and wrinkles
✔️ improving overall texture and brightness
✔️ reducing scarring

The results can last up to one year after a course of three treatments but results can be maintained having the occasional top-up treatment through the year.

Is it painful - in short NO we apply a strong numbing cream prior to treatment 🤍
