We're very thankful of a recent donation to our Neonatal Unit, from Craig and his children, who sadly lost their beloved wife and mummy in 2023.

The late Helen Smart had previously raised money for the unit after the care both her children received. Helen (pictured left with her children in 2021) took part in the Great North Swim, raising over £1000, which allowed the unit to purchase a device which treats neonatal jaundice.

In honour of her efforts and dedication, Helen's husband, Craig, wanted to do something in her memory and has donated £2000 worth of items to the unit, which will help massively towards our neonatal care.

We would like to thank Craig and Helen and their two beautiful children for their kindness and donations 💜
