We also provide a wide range of community services from local health centres and clinics and through outreach services across the Wigan Borough. 🏠 There are lots of things you can do to help a loved one get home from hospital:

• Collecting them as soon as possible - which helps free up beds for people who urgently need care
• Making sure they have clothes, shoes, keys and a phone charger
• Preparing things at home
• Asking the ward about any medication or equipment needed

Don't forget to collect your repeat prescription ahead of the May Day bank holiday weekend, to ensure you don't run out of medication.

Some pharmacies may have reduced opening hours over the bank holiday.
