This week, our 2025 Impact Report launched! 🎉

The report offers an overview of who we supported last year and how.

In total, we supported 51 projects across 37 groups, ranging from animal sanctuaries and education providers to poverty and health charities 💚

Over 41,600 people benefited from our support, including staff, residents and members of the local community.

We’re incredibly proud of the difference we made last year, and we plan to build on that in 2026 🤩

We love supporting initiatives that have a positive impact, and we’re especially invested when it comes to those which are connected to our staff team.

That’s why we’ve donated £1,000 to our Estate Manager’s son, Samuel, who is now fundraising to go to the 26th World Scout Jamboree Polska 2027 in Poland 🇵🇱

The Jamboree has wide-reaching benefits, creating personal growth and independence, relationships and an overall better understanding of the world we’re all a part of 🌍

Alongside that, Samuel will be visiting the residents across our Group and sharing his fundraising journey, and of course telling his story when he’s back from Poland! 😁

It wasn’t just Lakeside’s fabulous hairdresser Lindsey were were cheering on at the TCS London Marathon on Sunday, it was incredible to see Jordan from The FTD Brothers take on the challenge with a 25kg fridge on his back to raise awareness for dementia 👏

After loosing their mum to Frontotemporal Dementia at just 52, Jordan and his brother Cian are now taking on 33 marathons in 33 days to support families affected by the disease 🏃

She's only gone and done it again! 🤩

Lakeside Care Home's incredible hairdresser, Lindsey, completed the 2026 TCS London Marathon yesterday in support of Teenage Cancer Trust 🏃🏻‍♀️

Last year, we were honoured to be Lindsey’s main sponsor as she took on the London Marathon for the first time. So, of course, we were thrilled to support her again this year when she shared her plans.

All 52 bedrooms at Langtree Care Home offer a spacious place for residents to make their own. Residents are encouraged to personalise their space, whether that's photos on the wall or their favourite armchair 🖼️

Every room has a modern en-suite bathroom, and 14 ground-floor bedrooms also benefit from patio doors leading directly outside, offering easy access to fresh air and nature 🌱

In the two short months since Freddy started running his Personal Training sessions at Standish Care Village, we’ve already seen the positive impact 🤩

Some residents’ confidence has blossomed, others have grown stronger and are now able to do more outside of the gym. One thing’s for sure, Freddy’s schedule is jam-packed each week, with a long list of residents eager to book in 📆

Sportswear shops won’t be too pleased with us either, with more and more residents wanting to look the part for their sessions 👟

Most importantly, it’s brought a real sense of happiness to everyone spending time in the space ☺️

Residents from Norley Hall and Worthington Lake headed to Langtree Care Home last week for their Dementia UK Tea Party ☕️

In true Langtree fashion, everyone was dancing and singing along to the live music of Jo Madison, whilst enjoying the homemade scones, all for a great cause 💃

What a great team effort! Well done to everyone involved 👏
